According to WrestlingInc.com, there are rumors circulating that the WWE is planning to release another DX DVD set. This time focusing on their most recent run as DX which ran, on and off, from around August 2009 to March 2010.
During this time the group had high profile matches with the likes of Legacy, John Cena, Jerishow & Shomiz. In addition they had various interactions with Raw guest hosts and introduced Hornswoggle as the DX “mascot” as the culmination of a storyline. Whilst it is only speculation at present you might expect much of this to be the content on a new DVD.
This would be the third DX DVD to be released, following the re-release of the home video “D-Generation X” on DVD in 2006 and “The New & Improved DX” DVD set in 2007.
We’ll keep you posted on any new developments concerning this rumored DVD release.
I’d say with Shawn retiring and the obvious popularity of anything linked with DX the WWE probably view it as a final DVD to make some money from DX.
Or maybe the rumors are not 100% accurate so the DVD may feature a full history of the group, since it will likely be the last time.
I don’t get it.
What is the need for ANOTHER dx DVD????
