As you may have noticed the recent WWE Wrestling’s Highest Flyers DVD hit stores without an inlay detailing the content & matches present. This has caused quite a stir in the collecting community and the bad news is we’ve learned that the upcoming John Cena DVD also has no insert inside.
For some time now the WWE pay-per-view DVD releases have not included an event specific inlay but it appears the trend is now carrying over to the 3-Disc sets, and yes this is very likely to happen outside of North America too.
If you’re in Europe and fancy some bargain WWE DVDs & Blu Rays you’ve only got 1 day left to act!
Silver Vision in the UK have 23 titles in their current sale all at a fraction of their regular price, including the likes of Viva La Raza, Twist of Fate, Best of Raw 15th Anniversary and Heartbreak & Triumph.
Check that out now!
Not having inserts isn’t the end of the world or anything, but unless they cram the entire dvd listings on the case somewhere I’m not exactly pleased with the idea of them stopping doing them altogether. I don’t want to have to look up the match listings on the internet whenever I am looking for a specific match or anything, and even if I didn’t mind, what if my internet was down? Am I going to have to save a word doc with all the listings in? Or will I just have to waste time putting in every disc to see what’s on them?
As long as WWE designs the 3-disc sets like they did with the re-issue of the New and Improved DX release (have all content on one whole side), I wouldn’t have a big issue with it. Personal preference though, I loved the inserts because it was like a “guide” within the case, and accessibility is huge with me.
Now when are they going to address how bad an idea the flaps are opening the case?
Also annoying about that to with keeping the inserts.
Oh well, I don’t care about the inserts for the DVD’s because I just
throw them out because they attend to not be in place or fall out abit when opening the DVD Case after a while which is something not worth keeping either i’ll just memorize the matches or look on the internet for the match listings.
