The middle black and white photo is of Jeff Farmer, the nWo Sting. Hahaha holy crap!
This still isn’t as bad as the time they had a list of WWE Champions on WWE.com, and had (in a rare moment) acknowledged the Antonio Inoki reign (in between two Backlund ones that they normally just count as one). Problem was instead of a picture of Inoki, they had a picture of Tatsumi Fujinami.
There was another error they did with the History of the IC Title DVD set. They mixed up a picture on the insert and put Buddy Roberts holding the Texas Heavyweight title instead of Pat Patterson with the IC title. It was on the first print and I still have that set.
WWE.com even posted an article on it admitting their mistake. Could be a collector’s item now since WWE have fixed the error on the second shipments.
They used the old WWE.com logo and the new WWE home video logo.
I know mistakes happen, but they seem frequent with some of these sets. There was this one, I think there was one on Warrior and then on the Rock’s most recent release.
..and who can forget the famous Buddy “Jack” Roberts and Pat Patterson oopsie.
The mistake on the set is the Black and White picture of Sting on the back. Plus, I also think the picture of Sting on the back to the right of where it says “This is Sting” is also wrong. But I am not sure.
I think the error is that the drawing of Sting on the inside of the DVD (match listings) is actually from his TNA days, and not from WCW at all.
Nope, I’m wrong. That’s from his WWE intro commercial.
I think the mistake was calling it the world heavyweight championship
Isn’t that the Ultimate Warrior in the yellow and black?
No, it’s Sting.
There is no WWE logo on the front cover.
That middle pic on the back is not sting….
But now that I think about it…. this is a Sting dvd and not a Steve Borden dvd….. I’m sure they meant to put all original sting but I guess the fake Sting is part of the Sting history too
Another error has been spotted at Wal*mart vudu codes are missing with no codes to redeem when bought….
Just nothing about Vudu codes inside the pack? Oops.
