If this year’s SummerSlam spectacular left you wanting even more, WWE is also bringing us a chance to own three decades worth of the greatest SummerSlam moments this month on a 3-disc DVD set with more than 8 hours of content — and it’s out next week!
“30 Years of SummerSlam” will release to fans in the United Kingdom first this Monday (£24.99; Amazon.co.uk) and one day later on Tuesday to the United States ($23.74; Amazon.com).
Today we’ve got your first look at the final product before the street date. Thanks to WDN reader Derek’s early pickup and photos we can confirm that the domestic release is once again housed in the slimmer Amaray style packaging. A paper insert inside of the set features the “30 Years of SummerSlam” logo on one side and the full content listing on the other.
As seen with other recent titles, the discs themselves are ‘stacked’ together in one holder.
For over three decades, the WWE Universe has gotten fired up by the hottest event of the summer, SummerSlam! Now relive those incredible moments with WWE’s 30 Years of SummerSlam. Who could forget the Ladder Match featuring The Rock and Triple H or the insane Boiler Room Brawl between Undertaker and Mankind?
From Ultimate Warrior’s first championship victory to the personal rivalry of Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks, this set highlights the event’s greatest milestones. Welcome to The Biggest Party of the Summer! Welcome to 30 Years of SummerSlam!

As you may have spotted on our WWE DVD Release Dates page, the final WWE DVD releases of 2018 in the United States have been listed on Amazon this week as follows:
WWE 24: The Best of 2018 – December 11th
Survivor Series 2018 – December 18th
The two final WWE DVDs scheduled for 2018 in the United Kingdom have been added to the UK Amazon site, differing with the addition of Super Show-Down 2018:
Super Show-Down 2018 – November 26th
WWE 24: The Best of 2018 – December 10th
The Super Show-Down PPV, as we’ve reported previously, will indeed see a physical DVD release. Even though it hasn’t appeared on the U.S. schedule yet we are hearing that it will be a worldwide offering so it will either be added last minute or will instead be scheduled for early 2019.
The same goes for WWE Evolution; WrestlingDVDNetwork.com has exclusively learned today that the women’s PPV event will be produced on DVD in both the United States and the United Kingdom!
SUMMER SALE: WWEDVD.co.uk in the UK has restarted their “Summer Sale” from last weekend with discounts on many of their past releases – grab a deal as low as £1.99!

I received my set on the day of it’s release here in the UK & wow! What great matches!
I must say that the Top Matches of this set were;
Owen Vs Bret-Steel cage & Cena Vs Bryan!
Yet there were others too, these being my favs;
-2 IC Title Matches; British Bulldog Vs Bret Hart & Ladder Match of Rock Vs Triple H.
-Austin Vs Angle w/7 GERMAN SUPLEXES- WOW! Unbelievable for the Rattlesnake to take that much on a bad neck!
-Unsanctioned match – Shawn Michaels Vs Triple H.
-Undisputed-Rock Vs Brock & finally Jeff Hardy Vs RVD – TLC.
A very cool Summerslam set! Yet I still missed the Top 30 Moments like shown in the Survivor series set.
My copy came in the mail this morning. The disc reports that pepper the discs are basically match previews as if we’re currently watching a nine hour Summerslam.
Wow, then that really sucks. Just the build-up video packages from the PPVs themselves?
I don’t think that’s what Timothy meant. There’s a new preview clip here showing a little how it’s done:

2 days later and I cant see any sign of this Shield sale yet?
It happened Saturday morning for 24 hours.
Doesn’t really affect me as I won’t be buying the Region 1 version, but do like seeing the paper insert being included once again. The content and artwork are underwhelming, but, the disc art and sleeve do look pretty impressive in my opinion.
