  2. @DEVILSHOLIC says:

WWE should make all 5 years best matches into a set 5 dvds all matches

  3. @DEVILSHOLIC says:

WHY THE HELL IS ROCK ON THE COVER? hes only been in like 2 maches in 2013 royal rumble and Wrestlemania 29 Lesnar deserves to be on the cover more than rock he’s put off better matches and he wrestled more than rock

  4. Shawn Phelan says:

Do the people complaining that we don’t get this in the us not realize this is just two sets that were released here almost a year ago packaged as one?

    • SRB says:

Hopefully they do realize it if they actually read the article… The issue is mainly that it is a re-release, which makes the first-day or even first year buyers feel like they got the short end of things. I’d much rather have the above set instead of the two I bought separately.

  5. Ed says:

now why cant wwe make anything that cool for the united states…i would like to see them start making box sets for every single show that WWWF WWF WWE has ever put out. i think that would be a great product, make killer money for that buisiness, and i think a lot of people will be interested in it too

    • SRB says:

I agree. And I would really love an actual explanation as to why this happens rather than speculation. WWE is housed in the USA and constantly tours here, so this makes no sense.

      • A says:

I think it has to do with the company who has the rights to the WWE video licensing. Fremantle is continuing these sets b/c SilverVision used to produce them and clearly, the demand is there for the UK/European market.

Which almost makes me think that the reason why we in North America do not get every PPV released on bluray has to do with the company that has the license for the WWE DVDs/Blurays, they simply do not want to or do not see it as being lucrative enough. Then again, I could be wrong.

        • David says:

I also read with the licensee for WWE DVDs they can only produce a certain number of DVDs and Blu-rays per year based on their agreement. I assume the number increases per year based on sales.

Not sure if this is true, but this was a similar agreement with TNA and Navarre, they only produced a certain number a year which is why they had Cross the Line 3 Packs with 3 ppvs in 1 DVD release instead of 3 separate releases.

          • A says:

That makes sense. I’ve on Amazon.ca daily (2-4 times per day) to see if the Money In The Bank 2013 blu ray will be released, and they do not have a listing for it, which ticks me off because now I’ll probably have to import it from Amazon US.

Though strangely, they have the Raw 20th Anniversary set on blu ray listed and Survivor Series 2013 blu ray listed, and those aren’t supposed to see a blu ray release. I’m guessing it’s Amazon.ca not having their stuff together.

  6. Justin Greeder says:

Doesn’t it seem a little late to be releasing the Best of 2012?

    • captain planet says:

Yeah, strange timing for sure. You’d think they would do this earlier in the year when 2012 is sitll fresh in people’s minds…not 3/4ths through 2013.
