The very first WWE DVD set of 2019 just hit stores across the United States ($19.99; Amazon.com) and will release next Monday to the United Kingdom (£24.56; Amazon.co.uk).
“Best Pay-Per-View Matches 2018” kicks off a new year of Home Video releases – check out what’s planned for January to April on our WWE DVD Release Dates page – the first of which is today’s retrospective of WWE PPVs in 2018.
On the three discs you’ll find approximately 8 hours and 40 minutes of content! Let’s check out the trailer and see how the DVD will look when added to your collection…
WrestlingDVDNetwork.com is back to give you a first look at “Best Pay-Per-View Matches 2018” on the official release date. Thanks goes to Matthew Tremble for helping to make this possible.
WWE’s first DVD release of the new year is a biggie; the latest of their 3-disc sets! It packs in 17 full-length matches (18 if you’re counting Alexa Bliss’ Money in the Bank cash-in) and that includes the men’s Royal Rumble match shown here in full!
The compilation journeys from that Royal Rumble match right the way through the year up to the recent first-ever all-women’s WWE PPV event, Evolution. Like with the upcoming Best of RAW & SmackDown Live 2018 DVD, the host segments that are usually shown between matches are kept to a minimum which of course leaves more room for the action!
Once again the domestic Region 1 release comes packaged in a slimline case. Unfortunately we didn’t find a paper insert inside the packaging of this one which are often present and show the full content listing of the three discs.
2018 broke new ground for WWE. Dream matches were realized. Rivalries culminated. Superstars from RAW and SmackDown set the standard for exciting in-ring action.
Now relive the incredible matches of the year with WWE’s Best Pay-Per-View Matches of 2018! Witness Ronda Rousey’s first-ever WWE match, the colossal showdown between Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch, the barbaric Hell in a Cell Match between Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman, plus more!
Runtime Info (approx.)
DISC 1: 3 hours and 5 minutes
DISC 2: 2 hours and 51 minutes
DISC 3: 2 hours and 48 minutes

Which to me personally seems ridiculous. Because while I’m not advocating “piracy”, there is at least a portion of the WWE fanbase that wants to own “physical” copies of events and compilations, even if it now means burning them to dvd/bluray themselves and creating custom covers.
No more paper inserts? I wonder if that is standard now or this one was just missing one.
DVD era is over sadly. Just PPV and Best of’s. I don’t see any Biography DVD’s with matches of just a certain wrestler. No WCW or ECW DVD’s coming. Sad.
Does anybody know who is the host of the DVD?
Charly Caruso does hosting duties.
I hate to agree, but that appears to be true. No proper superstar documentaries released on physical media last year and this site that was once bustling with information and rumours on releases for the upcoming year has been like a ghost town for a few months now. 🙁
Sorry, I meant to reply to Mike ^ ^
