Daniel Bryan’s wild ride is about to take an extreme turn. Having finally overcome the corporate machine at WrestleMania, now the “YES!” man must overcome a demonic force. Will demon Kane drag the champion’s title reign to hell, or will Bryan overcome the odds once again? Plus, today’s most dominant facton, The Shield, must adapt or perish at the hands of the reunited Evolution, a stable that boasts 31 combined World Championship title reigns.

And locked inside a steel cage, John Cena must battle the new face of fear, Bray Wyatt, as well as the monster that Wyatt insists is lurking inside the face of “Hustle, Loyalty and Respect”. Find out who truly has “The Whole Word In His Hands” when WWE presents its most hardcore event, Extreme Rules!

  1. THOMAS says:

Everyone has a right to have an opinion on what they have to say about the artwork, contents, documentaries, matches on the dvds.

  2. J says:

Too many crybaby fans in the comments here SMFH.

  3. Joel says:

Do you guys know if they are going to release the 2013 ppv(s) DVD package ? They stopped on the 2012.

  4. THOMAS says:

The artwork for the WWE Extreme Rules 2014 dvd is rubbish.

  5. David says:

The DVD or any PPV DVD for that matter are not even worth buying anymore if you have the Network.

The quality is actually better on the network than DVD.

    • LP1 says:

While I agree with you 100%, you have to be careful when you make comments like that. The DVD police will be out in full force talking about things like “DVD’s last forever… the Network won’t… what if the internet goes out and you HAVE TO watch wrestling at that moment… etc.” Or the one girl who always complains about the frame rate on the Network. lol

      • Tommy D says:

Wow. These kind of comments make it hard to come to this site anymore. Does it really matter if someone buys the DVD to you guys or not? I still have my whole collection and will still be buying Blu Ray/DVDs. I enjoy my collection. I can’t believe how angry some people get when people choose to purchase something with their own money. No one is spending your money to buy the DVDs.

      • Steve says:

What happens if the network went away forever? Simple answer. Buy all the PPV DVD’s in a Walmart bin for $1 each. It truly is pointless to buy them on DVD now when they need to be on Blu Ray to compete with the network quality.

    • Daniel Bee says:

I think the “no point getting the DVD because it’s on the Network” argument is of course valid for PPVs.

If somebody doesn’t have the Network and would like the DVD though, nothing wrong with that. Same if somebody has the Network but wants to continue collecting and have a physical copy. Lastly, the UK’s Blu-ray edition ticks the boxes of physical copy, best quality and lots of extras. Right now the UK doesn’t officially have the Network either.

      • TheManInBlu says:

Well, I’m in Canada and I don’t have the Network but even if I did, I would still buy the PPVs I really enjoyed for my collection, especially those released on Blu-ray. And I will always buy the yearly WrestleMania on Blu-ray no matter what; it’s a must.

        • David says:

Yeah, if WWE released every PPV on Blu-ray then I would buy them…but they don’t and rather settle with downgraded DVDs when HD quality is on the Network then i pass.

Why spend millions and millions of dollars upgrading to HD equipment when they don’t release those HD shows on Blu-ray? might as well downgrade to handheld cameras.

No Blu-ray = no buy, simple.

If people actually were buying WWE Blu-rays then possibly WWE wouldn’t cancel them and stores carry like 1 copy, but the stubborn fans in the US that hang on their DVD players just can’t accept change.

          • Vintage Simon says:

Haven’t you just answered your own question there David? Surely you can’t expect WWE to keep producing Blu-Rays at a loss.

          • Simon says:

Actually you guys are lucky in the US, you have so much copies of every WWE/WWF dvds on the market, that they are not so expensive, I do not know as for blu-rays?! But here in Canada we have to pay a full god damn price for a single dvd and we cannot even buy WWE blu-rays at wal mart or somewhere else. You guys have big wwe sale we don’t even have one here or not yet the network.. So we have no choice to buy the standard dvd release, which I do think suxx!!

    • Charlie brick says:

All this controversy! Wwe DVD vs. wwe blu-ray? I am glad this is not an issue for me because I have…. Not the network…. I have… Wwf VHS! It’s not too late! Coliseum Video!! Let’s bring it back!! Remember: the “tracking” button on the vcr is the original “high def”.

  6. TheManInBlu says:

Unfortunately, I’ll be skipping this one. I though it was one of the worst PPVs of the last 12 months. And Payback doesn’t look much better with only 5 matches booked (so far and we’re only 3 days away). I hope WWE can get their act together and assemble good PPVs again soon. And now with Daniel Bryan on recovery leave, maybe they’ll have a cool Money in the Bank type contest for the championship. WMXXX was a near perfect card, it’s sad to see them go downhill so fast…
