Hello wrestling fans. Here’s another hot item Gorilla Monsoon style. I have a question that maybe someone could answer. Are there any easter eggs on this set? I have heard that there is one on the blu ray Disc one. I have no idea what it is, or if that’s even true. But if anyone knows anything about that or whehter the extra vignettes are on the UK version then I’d be grateful for the info. Cheers. WWEDVDNews doesn’t have to take a backseat to anybody.
There certainly is an Easter Egg on nWo: The Revolution, it features the Big Show giving his rather explicit (but bleeped) views on the New World Order. You can access it from Disc 1 with 2 right clicks from the Extra “Hollywood Hulk Hogan confronts Rowdy Roddy Piper” on both the DVD and Blu-ray.
I can’t confirm that the ‘unlisted’ blu-ray extras are on the Silver Vision version, however they certainly are on the US Blu-ray. Hope that helps 🙂
Thank you sir. I think it should be out in the UK sometime in the week. 5 days according to the website. I think there is a Curt Hennig vignette on there which I’d really like to have, so I hope its on there. Been re-watching the Best of Ntro and Back in Black in the meantime. Interesting that Back in Black gave 40 mins each to the WCW and WWE incarnations. The new one might be a better reflection of things in that sense, even if it is quite short.

I like this dvd and still am nWo 4 life and I thought it was great brining in Dennis Rodman, Karl Malone, and even Jay Leno but I wish they talked more about nWo 2000.
The running time for the blu-ray version is 8 hours 38 minutes. That could easily fit on a 3 disc DVD set, so why is the DVD running time only 6 hours 50 minutes?
Because they always add at least an hour more of extras on their blu-ray releases.
I think people might opt for the dvd version of this release just for the art work alone with the nWo letters on each disc. That’s not gonna be on the blu-ray set with only 2 discs!
When is nWo revolution coming to Canada? I have looked in a few stores and didn’t find it.

Check your nearby stores for availability via those links. If you want the Blu-ray, you’re SOL unless your nearby HMV carries it (BB and FS don’t, at least in store they don’t). Walmart doesn’t seem to be carrying this set in stores for some odd reason.

One match they should’ve put in the set instead of Sting vs The Giant is Spring Stampede 1998 Macho Man vs Sting because that was a classic match.
At the Wal-Mart I bought mine at had it on both DVD and Blu-Ray but sold out of Halo 4. Being the huge nWo fan I am going to watch it tomorrow got some things to do today but anyways my feeling is it will be either DVD of the year or in the top 10.
Bought this today and it’s the best DVD of the suck that CM Sucks and WCW.

Agree, I hate Blu Ray Artwork and Cases so much….Why can’t they just use the same case for both of them? I mean the discs are the same size, its just one fewer disc on Blu Ray

It’s important because it shows how when the nWo started, WCW wouldn’t let them wrestle on their Saturday Night show (storyline), so they had to buy air time on Saturday Night and wrestle in empty arenas with their own refs and cameramen (Hall and Nash also did their own announcing for those matches). So it’s important to show that early part of the gimmick that a lot of people may have forgotten about. This particular match has some very entertaining commentary from Hall and Nash, which is probably the main reason why they picked this one.

It’s to showcase NWO Saturday Night. Take your pick on the jobber, because it went on for a couple of months. It shows how NWO made a mockery of wrestling, and used messed up camera angles to do their show.

I personally think the only reason why the WWE hasn’t released any information on the Attitude Era release is because of today’s election. They didn’t want any commercials or anything period effecting it. After today, I expect them to go full tilt on promoting it.
I totally agree. If the listing is bad I’ll say, “It’s time for a change.” Then I’ll vote for Obama.
I mean no disrespect at all, but I wish people would shut the hell up about the Attitude Era match listing already. Every single article has at least one person asking about it. WHEN it does get released, WWEDVDNews will be the FIRST to report/reveal it. If its not on this site, then it hasn’t been revealed anywhere yet.
Anyway, looking forward to picking up the nWo Blu-ray today after work. Hopefully the store near me has a few left in stock by tonight and hasn’t sold out. Nice artwork on the DVD version, though. That’s the only thing I miss about buying the DVD versions.
I agree…its annoying people spamming articles asking for the listing of the Attitude era DVD. As Miz would say REALLY?! REALLY?! don’t they understand there would be a report if the listing was out and WWEDVDNews would be the first to report.
Kind of reminds me of the Legacy of Steve Austin DVD…the listing wasn’t even confirmed until couple weeks before release…and it was reported by someone in a review on Amazon. People thought the guy was lying or was BS but once the actual list came out, the listing was spot-on.

Actually around my area few times in the past WWE DVDs/Blu-ray have been sold out. One i remember was Randy Savage Collection, i could not find it the first couple days…had to order it off Amazon. Another was Rise and Fall of ECW, took me about 2 weeks to finally find a copy, even Amazon was sold out for a week or two, it was selling like crazy.
WWE Blu-rays on the other sell out pretty quick (atleast where i live). I’ve been ordering them off Amazon since Best PPV Matches 2011…always got them the day of or day after release. Finding them in stores are a pain…can’t be bothered anymore.
