Here are exclusive sneak peek pics of the incoming WWE Over the Limit 2012 DVD ahead of the US release next Tuesday [pre-order yours].
Since WRESTLEMANIA XXVIII, the polarizing purveyor of “PEOPLE POWER”, John Laurinaitis, has tried to eradicate John Cena from WWE. Now with his job on the line, the swarmy GM trades his corporate suit for ring gear in a one-on-one match with no one at ringside to save him from an Attitude Adjustment.
Plus, two of the purest mat technicians in WWE, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan, battle with the WWE Championship at stake. And “The Great White” Sheamus is poised to fight off three former World Heavyweight Champions in a whirlwind Fatal 4-Way Match. The intensity as WWE goes OVER THE LIMIT!

love the disc
The US releases seem more and more to resemble the releases from Asia. No thought really seems to go in to the artwork or extras anymore, and that cheap-looking “technicolor” logo on the back really makes it look like a Sendhi Mutiara releases to me!
Dude Love, I’m sure they hate whiny bitches like u too
…so that’s why they book the company like shit? Just to get a rise out of me? I’m flattered but they might want to start drawing some money and popping some ratings, like, yesterday.
Awww, the champions look so cute, all tiny and secondary over Cena’s giant shoulder.
I hope Punk loses the title soon so he can move up the card.
God, I hate this company.
Here’s a scary stat: No Way Out this Sunday will be the 5th pay-per-view in a row where Cena is the main event and not one of the World Champions.
That is a disgrace to the WWE and World Championships. The triple threat WWE title match would make a great main event match, but Vince has to give his golden girl the spotlight instead of highlighting WRESTLING
Not really surprised, Vince wants WWE to be known as an entertainment company rather than a wrestling promotion. And it shows cuz I can’t watch Raw or Smackdown anymore because I don’t find it fun to watch, I can only watch the guys who can “wrestle”. You get rare events these days like Wrestlemania, Money in the Bank 2011, Survivor Series 2011, and others where it’s fun/entertaining to watch wrestling. And when the shows are booked right, wrestling is the best form of entertainment on the planet.
Damn. 5, in a ROW?!? That officially makes Cena worse then Hogan AND HHH.
What a disc
I hate this trend of writing the name of the superstar next to the cover photo, it’s horrible! Makes it appear like they aren’t big stars and that we have to be reminded who they are. It also looks like it’s the tag line for the event of something like the old In Your House Events – Over The Limit: Randy Orton. Really bothers me.
They had to put his name since he says it in every promo.
Am i the only one that thinks the picture on the disc with laurinitis is funny and creative?
Hope Bryan/Punk makes the best of PPV set for 2012 so I don’t have to buy this entire show just for one match 😛
I’d like to exercise my people power and not buy this
Hey Mr. Bee, do you still order PPVs or do you just wait for the free DVD to be sent to you? I was just curious…and jealous, lol.
What I buy these days are some Blu-ray versions, since I’m not sent those. I’m also not sent the WWE Studios movies but those I can live without. 😉
From 2003-2010 I paid for everything (too much given I focused my collection on rarities and exclusives) so it’s a nice change.
Once again they don’t include the Pre-show match. It would also be nice if they listed the full card on the back like they used to. And no blu-ray in the US again. I wish we could get some sales numbers breakdown on how each DVD/blu-ray sells. I’m really interested to see how many people(or lack thereof) are actually buying these B level ppvs on DVD.
IMO, I doubt they are selling well (with the exception of Wrestlemania and/or Royal Rumble) blu ray or DVD. The product in North America isn’t followed as much.
