Heads up, some Elimination Chamber deals for both the US and the UK!
Firstly, here at WWEShop.com today take 20% off all orders with code “CHAMBER”.
Fans in the UK and Europe can get last year’s Elimination Chamber 2013 DVD for only £8.99 or Blu-ray for £9.99 at WWEDVD.co.uk. This is a 1 week only sale (February 21st to February 28th). The 2011 and 2012 Chamber DVDs are also on sale for only £5.99 each.
Tonight, look out for this eBay seller auctioning off over 30 rare WWF/WWE and original ECW DVDs individually! Lots of great stuff worth bidding on here.
What really bugs me more than anything is Mark Henry’s mug taking up space on that cover when he wasn’t at the event. He’s even more visible on the Blu-Ray cover.
Like anyone’s gonna buy this sh1t. One of the worst Rumbles ever!!!
So they couldn’t fit all 4 matches on the back?
The WWE DVD UK site considers £9.99 a sale price?
I really miss SilverVision.
Agreed. It’s no wonder the WWE DVD market in Europe all but collapsed in 2013 (based on the figures in the year-end financial data).
They did not edit the “F**k You, Cena” chants out of WM 22. I have the DVD, and it’s there loud and clear.
I also have one of Cena’s DVDs which contains the ECW One Night Stand ’06 match vs. Van Dam, and all of the negative chants are still there loud and clear, complete with cursing. I was actually surprised by that, since Cena is marketed toward kids. I was glad they didn’t edit that.
There is a long history of editing the sound. To think otherwise is silly.
John Cena vs Randy Orton in what could be one of the worst re-matches in history – They were right 🙂
I eager awaits the reception Rumble ’14 release will recieve..if there are so much as a single edit or alternation of crowd reactions through out the show, this release will be the first pass on dvd for me for my favorite ppv concept. I love the Bryan/Wyatt match, and I like this to be in my collection, IF it turns out to be Punk’s finale WWE performance.
But dammed, if it is cut and edited. WWE has done plenty of editing and cutting before, when it did’nt suit them some elements. Let’s hope they leave it as it is, a piece of history, unaltered.
Ehhh…maybe someone can freshen my mind, but I don’t believe WWE has actually ever edited crowd noise on DVD releases. Sure, they edit music they can longer use, edit choking due to their younger audience, and the Benoit edits, which are obvious. I don’t remember them editing crowd noise out. That’s kind of an overreaction, just looking at something to be upset about.
Pretty sure they heavily edited out the chants during Cena vs. RVD at One Night Stand.
And most famously edited out the “F*** you Cena” and other chants during Triple H vs. Cena at WrestleMania 22.
With modern technology today, and some knowledge of using that, I’m pretty sure they can, will and like Geolink just points out truely, they have already done that in the past.
I understand the times we are in right now are not for middle-finger gestures, signs that (for some) may be offensive and other attitude/ruthles agression/toothles agression eras kind of stuff.
But..it has a very historic feel to it, just like Wrestlemani XX, Lesnar/Goldberg match. Back then, WWE had the balls to release it without cutting and editing the rather vocal crowd reaction.
I can only hope that they still have balls, and still let the socalled Universe really be part of the scenario and part of the history.
Wrestlemania XX..
You proved my point…they never edited crowd noise at WMXX
They edit the crowd noise on Smackdown every single week, so it’s definitely within reason that they might edit out anything they didn’t like from this too. But I’m with the OP – if they do, then I’ll pass.
While it’s hard to prove, you’ll definitely know if they edited the crowd during the Rumble (when they chanted Daniel Bryan, when they booed with Rey Mysterio came out, when Batista won, etc…)
