The “Raw 20th Anniversary Collection” box set has today been listed for pre-order on both the Amazon and Best Buy websites!
Here on Amazon.com – $62.99 on DVD, $83.99 on Blu-ray.
Here on BestBuy.com – $79.99 on DVD, $109.99 on Blu-ray.
The title of the product listed there confirms, as we’ve reported, that there will be 20 shows included in a “greatest episodes” format. However, there are no details on either website giving away how many discs will make up the DVD or Blu-ray box set. We feel it is likely to be 12 discs on DVD and 10 discs on Blu-ray, according to information we saw earlier this week.
Look out for more info soon. It’s confirmed for release on December 3rd, 2013.
The Randy Orton and John Cena “Superstar Collection” DVDs are confirmed for release to the UK next month. There are currently no plans to release the other titles with them.
An update on the potential 2-disc version of the SummerSlam 2013 DVD was posted last night in Daniel’s Diary. It’s now confirmed for release to Australia but no information has yet surfaced for the US market, so it may turn out to be overseas only. The second disc contains Raw and Smackdown highlights in the same vein as the Blu-ray editions do.
The SummerSlam DVD/BD is released September 17th; pre-order yours by clicking here.
WrestlingSuperStore.com posted this new cover shot of the Legends of Mid-South Wrestling Blu-ray, shown below. The Mid-South DVD and Blu-ray is the next release incoming on the schedule and is released on September 10th (get yours pre-ordered).
Today only, here on WWEShop.com, you can find great deals on the Randy Orton: Evolution of a Predator DVD and Blu-ray, or the Superstar Collection: Randy Orton DVD. Prices start at just $6.99 and the sale is around Wednesday only!
There must be a Best Buy Exclusive since it is more expensive?
Never said anything about 100 episodes Srb. They released the 100 greatest moments last year. The upcoming set is the 20 greatest episodes.
No shank, I am talking about the best of wwf raw volumes one and two which I purchased on Dvd in 2001.
On top of that you have the yearly best of raw and smackdown sets as well as the best of raw seasons one and two, so like I said, anyone who wants more raw moments should go on amazon because there are plenty already available.
Ok Shawn, thanks for directing us to amazon.
Not to mention that they also released best moments of raw volumes one and two on Dvd over a decade ago.
That set was three years ago, not a decade or more ago.
I don’t know how anyone can complain about this set and say they’d rather have yet another raw greatest moments set which we have had numerous times as recently as less than a year ago. Nothing against the greatest moments set, I own the fifteenth anniversary set as well as raw 100 and love them both but those two sets have got the moments coveted for now, its time to get some od the great full epiaodes. Srb complains that it will be “random
episodes”. No, it will be the twenty greatest episodes just as the raw 100 was not 100 random moments, it was the top 100 moments so your arguement is invalid.
Are you kidding me? you say it will be the Raw greatest 100 episodes? Tell me, what are those?
And “your argument is invalid?” hahahah is this the court room?
My guess is that the huge Raw DVD/Blu-Ray, if it contains 20 complete Raw episodes then it will probably contain one Raw episode from each year that there’s been a Raw, the best one of that year say. So it could contain the first episode in 93, 97 could be the first MSG Raw, 01 could contain the end of WCW episode, 05 Raw homecoming etc. That would be my guess but lets wait for the listings, this will be an awesome set.
im glad the 20th raw anniversary is full episodes and not greatest moments like everything else
Yeah right! It should be greatest moments. What’s so great about some random episodes I could’ve taped from TV? You know they aren’t going to include everyone’s favorites. Complaints are inevitable.
A huge compilation of moments is so much better than just some complete episodes of Raw. 12 discs of random episodes is somewhat pointless.
They’re not random episodes. They’re the 20 greatest episodes ever according to WWE.
How about according to everyone else?
I wish the randy orton bluray documentary was done like all the other wwe documentaries. It would’ve been less confusing & more watchable.
What is the Orton set like? Been tempted with it off and on for some time. It will be hard to get hold of over here now anyway with Silvervision going.
I honestly would have rather seen a greatest matches/segments set, even if half would have been previously material. I would have gladly taken 5 blu ray discs worth of newly released material. There is soooooo much great unreleased stuff, especially from the first ten years of the show. Just my preference.
i cant wait for this to come out
amazon.ca
dvd $88.21
blu ray $118.13
sooo looking forward to this…merry christmas to me!
the fact that wwe is releasing a big set such as this is very promising for future productions.
Well it looks like us fans from the UK are gonna miss out getting this Raw box set in time for Xmas then. Thanks Fremantle.
Releases that were late in the year to the US often were released early the next year by Silver Vision too, if you’re trying to compare the two companies.
I knew that Silvervision done the same as far as the release dates went. It’s just with a bigger box set like this i was hoping that Fremantle would do their best to try and get this release out in December for us in the UK aswell. This set sounds like it’s gonna be awesome.
Preordered my blu ray set through amazon. Came to $91.23 with tax an shipping was free. Doubt I will find a better price.
Any chance of a Smackdown set next?
RAW set price looks decent I guess. Hopefully it stays the same or goes cheaper.
This RAW set sounds great. I’m definitely going to get this. Might ask for it for my birthday.
i asked FremantleMedia in the UK about the raw box set and the confirmed to me that it is 12 dvd discs & 10 Blu Ray Discs. They also said they have not decided on a price yet and it will be out Q1 2014. Also the Superstar collection dvds will not be on sale on there website only at Amazon.co.uk , Sainsburys and also WH.Smith.
Boom! A confirmation.
Shame we have to wait until probley January
It is a shame because Australia look to be getting it one day later than the US.
Pass just the same thing y saw on tv and to be honest this pg era is not good at all .
It’s a box set about the 20 year history of Raw, so I don’t know how you can say the “PG era” will make you pass on it.
And don’t think I don’t notice you commenting on most articles saying you are not gonna buy this particular DVD, every time… 🙂
If it’s episodes with Benoit in it, I sure hope they don’t edit him out.
Scott, you do know WWE was around before the Attitude Era, right? The one DVD set you MUST buy this year is The History of WWE though. It’s time for a history lesson.
Waiting for the listing first, and after I pre order that huge set!!!
This Raw set is getting me excited!
Won’t get my hopes up for the RAW set till’ I see the listing!
This may very well be the greatest RAW DVD set they have ever done. I can’t wait to get this. I don’t care if the price is $500 I still would be getting it.
