What’s the point in this?
Parking Lot Brawl: Lord Steven Regal vs. Belfast Bruiser,April 29, 1996 was confirmed too i think?
I just picked up my copy of Royal Rumble Blu-ray/DVD combo at my local Walmart. Got my copy for $20 plus sales tax. Kind of ODD for the WWE to start having combo packs.
When I went to the Walmart in my area and saw just the blu-ray version, I got nervous as I thought they didn’t had the dvd version. However, after reading the front that it was a combo with both the dvd & the blu-ray, I decided to get it. As I mostly watch the dvd than the blu-ray since I don’t have a blu-ray player, it’s neat to know I have a blu-ray disc in my WWE dvd library. As for the Nitro dvd, screw that, as WWE should have a best of TNT dvd instead.
I probably should mention that I did swap the position of the discs. The BD was indeed on the left and regular DVD on the right. Just a matter of preference. I put the BD on the right with the DVD under the ad insert. The episode of Raw on the Blu-Ray is in full.
I wish they had the entire Raw and Smackdown on the Blu Ray. Still a great deal. An extra $3 on WWE Shop, I already made my purchase.
The special features included on the blu-ray are so much better than the ones included on the DVD’s. I need to pick up a blu ray player for that reason alone.
Weird. The one I got at Walmart had the BD on the left under an insert of the PPV Schedule/The Chaperone and the DVD on the right. It’s kinda surreal seeing a WWE released DVD/BD combo, but I’m not opposed to it.
