The release, being billed as the definitive and final Stone Cold DVD, is confirmed to have a 2.5 hour documentary main feature. The whole 4-Disc DVD runtime is expected to be approximately 9.5 hours, whilst the 3-Disc Blu-ray version a whopping 12.5 hours.

I guess WWE has become like a Hollywood Movie Studio now. Skimping on how much is released on a DVD. With WWF Wrestlemania 2000 DVD, disc 1 had the 3+ hour PPV with a studio version of the wrap up show and disc 2 had a condensed version of the 12Noon to 8pm Wrestlemania All Day Long and extras. I just wonder what the current PPV size is on a DVD versus the older WWF/E PPVs.
straightedge47/Harry Faversham. I agree with both of your points. Im sick of hearing people say, “You cant fit more than 3 hours on a disc.” Really? How about the old pay per views that were almost 3 hours then had over an hour of extras? And the content in general for this set was really nothing great. Actually, i might have passed all together if there was no documentary
I really liked the way they presented that Ric Flair DVD with the main feuds and extras for each one. I think it must be to do with picture quality on the DVDs, otherwise it wouldnt make any sense not to load the discs up. Its not like its going to make them too heavy or anything. I think I’ll have to get the blu ray for this one though. The exclusive matches look pretty good to me, Kurt Angle/RVD etc. I’m only disappointed that the Summerslam 2001 match against Angle hasnt made any of his dvd’s.

4 disks aren’t really needed. Ric Flair’s Ultimate collection 3 disk set was longer than that….
4 DVD = 9.5 hours? Maybe covers are not something to complain about and maybe neither are repeat matches, but use of disc space is pushing the limits.
