There is no Blu-ray edition of WWE Survivor Series 2011 down on the schedule for North America, only the standard DVD. This could change given the planned return of The Rock at the event, but as it stands now there isn’t one planned.

“The Superstars of Raw, SmackDown, and NXT all battle to be the ultimate survivors! For the 25th consecutive year, the Superstars of WWE come together for Survivor Series, the second-longest running PPV in WWE history, behind only WrestleMania! Its unique 5-on-5 elimination matches have always been favorites among WWE fans and this year will see some unique teams built and destroyed. Many of the biggest superstars in WWE look to leave an indelible mark on the sports entertainment landscape.”

At least one of those Judgment Day’s is Koch, which is worth far less. I would wager that a couple of the others are as well. One, though, looks legitimate, and that the seller is too stupid to understand what is going on and he is price-matching the inferior Koch version.

Wonder if the UK will get Survivor Series on Blu Ray since they’ve just announced NOC is getting one. Which makes it even more stupid that MITB didn’t.

  7. Dave says:

The way the trend is going the remaining ppvs on blu-ray for this year are canned. I wouldn’t be surprised if Royal Rumble 2012 will also be cancelled. No doubt Wrestlemania 28 will on blu-ray.

  8. SRB says:

I watched the Austin Match with Chris Adams the other day. I’ve gotta say, the match is great. I was very surprised, but it was a pretty good match. Looking forward to the entire content release. Cant wait for this one.
