Last week WWEDVDNews.com revealed the cover art for WWE SummerSlam 2010 DVD & Blu Ray for North America. Now the likes of Amazon and Walmart have updated their product listings with the same cover, so looks like it is here to stay. No orange poster 🙁
When we exclusively released the cover there was a great deal of negative feedback on how it looks from fans all over the Internet. If you haven’t seen it yet check here and join in the conversation with your thoughts!
We recently reported that the WWE Hell in a Cell 2010 pay-per-view event may be released on Blu Ray in November. However these plans now look to have been scrapped, evident from the removal of this release on a recent update.
There is some good news for WWE Blu Ray collectors though. Amazon.ca now has a Blu Ray listing up for WWE Bragging Rights 2010 so this PPV will likely see a BD release in November.
Other WWE Blu Rays expected on the horizon are SummerSlam 2010, The John Cena Experience and Smackdown 2010 Season.
As for DVDs in the remainder of 2010, check out the full schedule of confirmed titles.
I’m in the UK and I mostly pre-order my WWE Blu Rays from Canada. No messing around with store exclusives 🙂 It will be interesting to see if Bragging Rights & Smackdown 2010 Season will be Canadian exclusives or not.
Yea, back in Jan. i emailed E1 Entertainment (distributor in charge of WWE DVDs/Blu-rays in Canada) and PR rep said the Best of RAW 2009 Blu-ray was actually scheduled for Canadian exclusive release but was scrapped close to release.
Just glad in Canada we don’t have to rely on Best Buy carrying WWE Blu-rays because most stores here (especially where i live) are terrible when it comes to stocking WWE DVDs. They would also be available at Walmart and any other retail store.
Yes the Raw 2009 Blu Ray was up and I even pre-ordered it but it was scrapped near the release. If they are scheduled for Canada then more than likely they will see a US release also, appearing in Best Buy stores first. That is if what happened with the Raw one doesn’t happen again.
Wait, I just looked and the RAW 2009 BD isn’t listed anymore. Did it get released, because I know at one point I saw it on Amazon.ca.
The SD2010 BD will likely be Canada only, like the Best of RAW 2009 was.
blu rays need to start flowing like wine. we need all wwe releases on blu. hope 2011 will see loads more
I bet they said the same thing for the TLC DVD cover.
