I don’t know if I’m alone here, but it is almost impossible for me to wait to get new sets. I like to get things right away, especially things I haven’t seen like “After The Show” when it comes out. What I mean is that when deals like these come around, I usually already have everything or have pre-ordered it weeks in advance. For a while, I refused to buy blu-rays (Edge’s was my first). So lately I’ve been having to backtrack on certain titles, 8 left to complete my collection. I do love these sales, but 20% isn’t much after shipping and I find it hard to wait until they get cheaper.
Once again, European distributor Freemantle are doing nothing similar to this. Yes, their catalogue pales in comparison to WWEShop’s, but that is besides the point. It’s ironic that previous licensee Silvervision lost the license due to not wanting to offer titles for digital download (or something like that. With the WWE Network, that will soon be made redundant – not that many people used Freemantle’s digital downloads I would imagine. I would send them a tweet, but cannot be bothered making an account. I wonder if they read the comments here …
