Still waiting for TNA To release DVDS Here in this country.I wish they were able to sign to a new DVD Distributor so they could be out faster. Its been months since they’ve released a DVD.
Just used the promo code on my order. Thanks guys 😀
JUST GOT AN EMAIL FROM BEST BUY. MACHO MAN COLLECTORS SET MOVED UP TO SEPTEMBER 30TH FOR RELEASE. ANYONE ELSE SEE THIS?
I see a few comments coming in about this on different WDN articles. Sorry to say but I think this is just yet another error that’s happened. September 30th is just too soon.
thanks for the promo code, Wdn guys.. 😉 used it only for Bound for Glory 2012, since I am close to have used up my budget for this month regarding dvd/bluray.. 🙁
but.. gonna be great to re-visit that awesome Streetfight between Roode and Storm, and for less than 9 pounds, ship costs included. 🙂
You’re welcome. Thanks for the support.
Does TNA’s UK site refuse to ship to the USA just like Fremantle and Silver Vision before them do?
Think so, yeah. Usually it’s a case of their agreement with WWE/TNA only covering Europe etc though, rather than just refusing worldwide sales for the sake of it.
Im half tempted to get a region free dvd player just so I can get/watch TNA’s dvd’s on a reasonable time from the event happening, any reason why TNA takes so long to get dvd’s out in USA cause if I remember right the BFG dvd came out in like March/April
I assume because TNA have been producing their DVDs in-house in the US compared to using a third party distributor and publisher which would have paid TNA to have the right to sell and publish home videos in US/Canada. Now its basically coming out of TNA’s pocket to produce these events on DVDs and with their financial trouble its probably why they have been taking so long.
The company they used went bankrupted few years ago and doesn’t seem like they have any other company lined-up.
Bound for Glory came out around May this year – about 7 months after the ppv which is pretty damn long – it doesn’t even take movies that long to be released on DVD/Blu-ray after they air in theaters.
There are plenty of free downloadable players that are region free. Buy the dvds and download the player. Watch them on the computer.
TNA has a lot more important things to worry about right now instead of DVDs, like whether or not they’ll even be in business come the end of the year.
