Trailer for Today’s New Randy Savage DVD, Sneak Peek of WWE Black Friday

November 18, 2014 by Daniel Bee

Out today is “Macho Man: The Randy Savage Story”. The Blu-ray version (down to $24.99 here on Amazon.com) is already the #1 best seller in their Sports category.

A documentary approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes in length is your main feature.

The official trailer for the new Macho Man WWE DVD can be viewed below.

Don’t forget – there’s also a special Collector’s Edition box set for this release!

Two cheap eBay listings for the box set have gone up, linked to below. However, be careful with these because despite some people purchasing them already, they are likely to be erroneous because of the mix up with the UPC of the box set and a different DVD called “Ardennes Fury”. This issue has been seen elsewhere too, most notably on Best Buy’s website.

  1. Wrestling hero says:

Best Buy screwed me over with that Ardennes Fury dvd sending it to me twice and are just going to refund my money instead of what i preordered. I will never mess with Best Buy again.

There “customer service” is a complete joke.

  2. Kingsofrasslin says:

TNA referenced by name in the bluray exclusives by Dusty. That was a bit surprising.

    • attitude.era.4life says:

well, that could be an indication, that then it wont be long before team dixie will be part of the wwe family.

maybe Don Vince has made her an offer she could’nt refuse. lol

  3. NickP says:

The Savage set was great and very sad to watch. This could of very easily been a 2 hour doc. As his stint as the Macho King and time with Sherri was barely touched. His feud with Ric Flair from 1992 was skipped and some feuds were not even mentioned. I understand WWE is going with a different approach on docs as mentioned earlier this year in a fan survey, but at times it felt like what about this and that?

  4. You says:

The US Macho Man Blu-ray Discs are better colored than the UK ones.

  5. Me says:

Regarding the Macho Man set: The editing of Mel Phillips on three straight matches on disc 1 is annoying. I Can’t believe that is actually deemed necessary. Also, no entrances for the tag match on the bluray extras is illogical and unexcusible. WWE home video seems to find a way to screw just about everything up.

    • chris says:

Is his voice literally edited out, or do they just join the footage in progess after his introductions?

I just got the Ultimate Warrior Blu-ray that was released in April, and Phillps’s voice is heard in multiple matches

  6. Bandit says:

What was the Black Friday deal last year? I tried looking for past articles on here but only found info on the Cyber Monday Deal – free shipping order of $15 or more ($5 if you were under) along with DVDs/Blu-Rays a good percentage off – 25% I think. Was it something similar?

  7. King7777 says:

I might have known it would be from Youtube…

  8. Dave Walker says:

    I’m lucky, got mine friday.
