It’s appearing now on both UK and Australian schedule sources so we would consider it confirmed. Expect a US date and further details to be revealed in the next few weeks.

Thanks for the confirmation, Daniel. It still seems odd to me that WWE would decide to leave the title out of print, even after the legal matter in question was resolved. It is a Wrestlemania, after all. I love the network but I love my collection too and right now I have a gaping hole where 24 should be. I’ve looked at used copies but never seem to find one in a condition I could be happy with that wasn’t also unreasonably expensive. C’est la vie, I guess. Here’s hoping that one day we’ll get a reissue.

    • LP1 says:

It’s more than just simply re-releasing copies now that the lawsuit is over. They have to go back in the studio and completely re-author the entire PPV onto a new file just to change the music. And then they have to send all new files to get printed out onto new discs, print out new covers, cases, etc. and then be shipped out. Is it worth it to go through all that just for one song? Plus it’s a show that is over 6 years old. They must feel it’s not worth it. The WrestleMania Anthology had a ton of music edits that were necessary at the time(2005), but today those edits are no longer necessary since they got the rights to most of those songs back. They never went back and re-authored any of those shows with the correct music onto DVD either. It’s just not worth it to them. They feel it’s easier to just edit them in studio and upload them onto the Network then it is to go through the process of printing them all out onto to a physical disc again.

  2. Very Low Ki says:

I’m likely just ignorant, but can anyone explain why Wrestlemania 24 is out of print? I once heard that it had something to do with Floyd Mayweather and his entrance music but, if that were the case, couldn’t they just dub over it with a generic theme? I’ve never actually seen the show, even though it’s on the network, because I’m holding out hope that I can one day add it to my collection.

    • Daniel Bee says:

As far as I know it went OOP during/because of the issues with that Mayweather music and just wasn’t put back even when the lawsuit had been and gone.

  3. David says:

I don’t think Punk would be Benoit’d and erased from WWE. I’m sure they want to keep it open between the two, it just depends on Punk.

The chants however really need to stop, especially during AJ Lee’s matches, yes, we get it, you know they’re married, good for you…move on already. Never use to bother me before but its just been quite annoying hearing these during matches and segments and just ruins the moment.

Bryan is WWE champion, the person the fans were frothing over being the top guy and yet Punk is being chanted by the fans – like honestly, whats the reason for that?

  4. King8796 says:

Nope, not watching that video because it’s from Youtube. I hate Youtube

    • John Peterson says:

Are you ever gonna stop acting like a fairy whenever videos come from Youtube.FFS,Quit getting your panties in a bunch over it and man the f**k up about it.

      • LP1 says:

John, don’t feed the trolls. You’ll notice the name “King” appear a lot on these forums, always with different numbers at the end.
