The O2 in London, England is set to host Money in the Bank 2023 this July, with a reportedly overwhelming response to early ticket sales. WrestlingDVDNetwork.com has learned that UK fans will be treated to two new WWE DVD sets as they anticipate the MITB PLE!
– “Best of UK Classics”: releasing on April 24th during WWE’s first UK tour of the year, expect a compilation of the most memorable matches from WWE events held in the UK over the years.
– “Best of Money in the Bank”: releasing on June 12th ahead of WWE’s second UK tour of the year in June and July (which includes a SmackDown broadcast and Money in the Bank), this will compile the greatest Money in the Bank Ladder Matches in one collection.
Both will be 2-disc DVD sets, adapting WWE Network specials for Home Video.

The Cody DVD was recently released to UK fans with a unique white case, as you can see above.
Fremantle have opted to use a few different colored cases lately for certain WWE DVD titles – SummerSlam ’92 had an orange case, while Clash at the Castle was released with both a red case and a green case. These cases are produced only for the initial stock, later reverting back to the standard black case, so technically they are limited edition!
And a heads up — “RAW is 30 – 30th Anniversary Special”, another UK exclusive, will be released this coming Monday.
In the US, Royal Rumble 2023 is the latest WWE DVD to hit stores.
The content of the 2-disc set includes the 52-minute post-show Press Conference as an extra.
Thanks to Makel for sharing a few photos of the Rumble DVD, which shows inside the packaging is a Stone Cold Steve Austin Fathead, commemorating Austin’s first Royal Rumble Match victory in 1997 (…but the Mountain Dew Pitch Black is not included 😆).
Elimination Chamber 2023 is the next WWE DVD on the 2023 schedule for the US, releasing March 21st.
We recently unveiled the front cover artwork for the Chamber DVD, featuring Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn, and now comes the back cover:
One of the last updates here at WrestlingDVDNetwork.com revealed early cover artwork for WrestleMania 39 (shown again below).
We still expect this to be placeholder artwork that’s subject to change nearer the release, however this same cover art has been used to create pack shots in the UK – take a look here on Amazon.co.uk, so you never know! As always we’ll keep you updated.
In Impact Wrestling news, Hard To Kill 2023 will see a DVD release next month on April 13th. The cover artwork is shown below. Thanks to Nicholas for sharing.
Did you know we have a TNA/Impact DVD List on the site with every TNA/Impact Wrestling release dating back to 2003 through to the present day?
It’s a shame that they clearly don’t want to pay the production costs for 3-disc sets anymore, because logically speaking the MITB set should be a Volume 2 to the ‘Straight to the Top’ Anthology. Since 2013 there has now been roughly the same amount of matches that were on that set (a couple more I believe, just taking a glance at Wikipedia). As Timothy said though, I have all the subsequent MITB PPV DVDs, so I don’t need it.
Literally the only match I don’t already have from the Network UK special is the WALTER/Dragunov match, so I won’t be getting that set just for one match either. I realise they may add a bonus or two to the DVD, but meh. Far from essential, any of it. Just a means of making a few quid off the back of the next UK event from the casuals like they did with the Summerslam ’92 DVD, so I get it.
I pre-0rdered my copy of ”THE ELIMINATION CHAMBER”. I’m getting it for $10 dollars. The price was $ 15 dollars. ”BESTBUY.COM sent me a $ 5 dollar discount. What a lucky break. It ain’t $ 15 dollars no more. It’s now $ 20 dollars.
There is two rereleases coming out on blu ray at the end of March. The Glow documentary and Wrestling with Shadows. Both are rescanned and loaded with new extras

Hopefully they do another Unreleased Dark Matches set.
The Best of UK will likely just be the Network special from last year which included these matches:
Hulk Hogan vs. Macho Man Randy Savage – 10/8/1989
Bret Hart vs. The British Bulldog – SummerSlam 1992
Bret Hart vs. The Undertaker – One Night Only 1997
Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. The Rock – Rebellion 2001
Shawn Michaels vs. John Cena – RAW 4/23/2007
AJ Styles vs. Jinder Mahal – SmackDown 11/7/2017
WALTER vs. Ilja Dragunov – NXT UK 10/29/2020
I wouldn’t mind this set, some repeats for sure, but some gems I don’t own yet.
DVD’s — like CD’s and LP’s — will always have a purchasing public.
I’m intrigued by the UK matches too. I may pass on the Money in the Bank set though, since I have the anthology and the following ppv dvds.
the “Best of UK Classics” dvd in particular sounds interesting. depending on the match selection, there might be some gems on there.
