what its the name of the song in the music video
What!
They’re releasing Undertaker Vs Triple H from WrestleMania X-Seven!
I thought that match never happened!!!
Yeah it happened. It was a great match as well. I’m sure you can find the match online.
I think the person was being sarcastic because they never really mentioned the X-Seven match the past two years Triple H and Taker fought. I think Triple H mentioned it in passing once.
There’s 3 people I think who could beat Taker at Mania to end the streak, 1. Jeff Hardy a TLC match, 2. AJ Styles in a No DQ match and 3. A Money in the bank match with a bunch of people.
You know wrestling is fake, right?
who care if wrestling is fake nobody else care that wrestling fake people still go see raw an smackdown live in person an wrestling is all about entertaining the fans an putting on a good show for us. wrestling is a entertainment company an that is why it is called world wrestling entertainment
This is now being listed as a 3 disc dvd and a 2 disc blu ray on Silver Vision.
i’ve been a fan for a long time, i can even remember when the “texas rattlesnake” stone cold sprayed mr macmahon and kurt angle with the beer nozzle. I bet a lot of you weren’t even born at that time. So i can tell you that this DVD on the “undead showstopper” the Icon The Undertaker will be a good set. I read on the internet that there were two differnt people playing “the big red phenom” Kane, so even though he faces kane twice, it’s acutally two diffent people, so the matches are different. His match with “The Natural Boy” Ric Flair is a classic as well, even though Flair was well into his 60’s at the time. So take that Rock Bottom Line all you pie eating members of the kiss my butt club because i said so!

I remember watching the battle royal when Andre through Hogan out right before WM3, so whats you point? also, I claim BS on your penis…also, the fact is, kane was played by Isaac Yankem before Glen Jacobs took over the role…
Glenn Jacobs played Isaac yankee as well as Kane fake diesel and many others
At last, soonmee comes up with the “right” answer!
Well put, sir, well put. I’ll certainly make note of that.
Great common sense here. Wish I’d thought of that.
There was only one Kane it’s just a rumor and ric flair was not in his 60s at wrestlemania 18
There was a 2nd person Kane, but that was the fake Kane that feuded with the real Kane in 2006 and was never seen again. That was Luke Gallows under a Kane mask.
Likewise, there was also a fake Undertaker who feuded with the real one in 1994. Brian Lee was the fake Undertaker. He went on to become Chainz, a member of the DOA biker gang.
Other than that, Mean Mark Callous has been Undertaker since day 1 and Glenn Jacobs has been Kane since day 1.
As for this DVD, I’m not all that interested as I’ve already seen all the Wrestlemanias. Be forewarned, the only good streak match from the 90s was the match against Diesel. Be forewarned that the Undertaker was a late bloomer as a worker, so his early matches weren’t very good and he was hampered by injuries in the middle of his career.
How about this for a DVD set: Goldberg – The Original Streak. 😉
Or one centered around Tatanka’s brief winning streak from 1992/3, lol.
Tatanka’s brief undefeated streak ran for nearly 2 years.
That’s pretty impressive then! Why do people harp on about Goldberg’s when Tatanka owned him years prior? Lol.
why are there no extras for the dvd version of undertaker the streak why do wwe always be more interest in blu ray more then dvd version they always put all of the good stuff on blu ray i am starting to believe that wwe want us to buy blu ray version more then dvd version i don’t understand why
Erm, because they charge more for it and it makes them more money? Lol.
You know? I think they WILL pay for Rollin’. Reason being, usually when a song is dubbed on a WWE release, you will notice that there is another famous song or two on the DVD. The catch is they pay for some, but not all, music used at an event. In the case of this DVD set, Rollin’ would be the only song they are paying for. So I bet it is on there, they will probably deem it worth it in this case! WrestleMania anthology set was a different story. They had already paid rights for about half the stuff that does appear on there (official PPV themes and stuff), then the other half is dubbed.
And like a poster already said, they can’t really get ’round the live performance at ‘Mania XIX, so I reckon they will deem it worth it in this case, especially since it’s used on a good few matches. You just watch, I called it. 😉
I hope you’re right. But I’d much rather have them spring for Ain’t No Grave and For Whom The Bell Tolls.
I kinda feel like if they don’t want to pay for the music just cut out the entrance. The old DVDs hardly ever had entrances (the Pillman set is a prime example), I love great entrances but if they don’t want to pay (pricks) then just let it go.
Oh God, I forgot about Ain’t No Grave and For Whom The Bell Tolls! If they pay for them we will definitely not get ‘Rollin’. But they may do ‘Rollin’ instead of those as it’s just one song that happens to be used three times throughout the set as opposed to paying for two that are only used once. At least the Graveyard Symphony theme still fits ‘Taker’s gimmick at ‘Mania 27, I suppose. And I can’t see them bothering to pay for Triple H’s theme when the set revolves around the Undertaker.
Motorhead from ‘Mania 17 will probably be on there; Motorhead seem cool about always allowing their perormances to be used! I guess they charge a pittance, lol.
I was hoping for more matches
Good one.
They could have put Taker vs Brock from No Mercy and his HIAC with Mankind. Both helped Taker get over. Also the edge fued helped put over Taker as a top babyface. Best 3 Matches on here are HIAC with Bossman, vs Gonzales and also the match agains HBK 1.
You were hoping for his other wrestlemania matches? Taker has like 12 other dvds you tard. Its called 20-0 for a reason
What a strange match collection
How does the documentary have its own disc? i cant imagine it lasting much more than an hour
I Believe the Blu-ray extras with the history packages are going to be the build up to the matches with montages recapping the happenings on the raw and smackdown leading up to wrestlemania, its going to be like the edge and alberto del rio history package on disc 2 blu-ray of wrestlemania 27 but that was like what 1 min long or something, the blu-ray is looking disappointing to me they could have filled this with promos and segments that undertaker had with the wrestlemania oppenants leading up to the mania matches instead of the doc and history package on disc 1 bluray they really could have filled it up but wwe choose the cheap way and expect people to buy this, its a good release dont get me wrong even though the matches haven been released countless times but even the documentary is looking weak with only 8 chapters which is going to be like how long, i aint the one to say since i aint watched the doc but with wwe you know how it is, i just hope the doucmentary is quite long and be quite interesting to see how they deal with undertaker american bad ass gimmick,
As regarding to the logo blurring, the attitude era logo will be blurred we all know that, for the old block logo which wwe has right to lately on wwe programming wwe having been blurring the old block logo starting back at wrestlemania 28 hall of fame which is unusual, i dont know why they have done this maybe they just dont want newer fans to be confused with WWE and what it was back in the day when it was WWF, but even that is stupid as if the newer fan is going to notice and stare at the old block logo whilst watching a match and being confused all the way through and identifying what company it is lol,
if the wwe block logo is blurred its going to ruin the dvd, the dvd is already bit ruined with the attitude era scratch logo being blurred but for the old block logo to be blurred will be taking the piss to be frank so i just hope they leave as it is.
Music rights will be overdubbed so they wont be no rollin by limp bizkic, wwe will not fork out money just to pay for undertaker rollin theme he used at mania 17 18 and 19 becuz the band will want all the money the dvd makes each time it sells, so i hope at least they overdub it with something good.
The blu-ray is worth it just for the upscaled footage im all up for it,
just been watching the best of the king of the ring blu-ray and the old footage looks nice and clean on blu-ray with it being upscaled, so thats a positive there.
Undertaker defo needs a proper career documentary but that wont happen in another 10 years!!
This is such a tease. Any wwe DVD collector already has most if not all of these matches through their wrestlemania set. Seeing as The Undertaker is winding down his career, I think it is finally time to have a complete career retrospective DVD instead of his Wreatlemania matches only. Definitely not worth buying.
Blu-ray extras are pretty much what one would expect. Anyone know if they’re going full-bore with the block logo blurring? It was very apparent on the Raw flashback on Monday. Pre-WWE footage is going to become completely unwatchable if so.
Pretty weak but that is to be expected. I woul guarantee Taker doesn’t even speak in the documentary. This will be kayfabe to the absolute max. They must continue to insult our intelligence. I cant wait to hear the opponents that are still in the company say “He is amazing and can’t be beat at WM” Gee thanks for the insight! With all the great things that have yet to be released this is what they come up with. I bet anything that ECW unreleased will sell double then this set as it should.
You just know it will be mostly Santino Marella, Daniel Bryan and The Miz too! Lol.
Yeah it will be santino saying how scary his entrance is!
I will buy this strictly for the documentary, and the other cool thing is old wrestle mania matches on the blu ray.. cool
Interesting to see how long the documentary will be, since the Blu-ray extras seem short compared to others (unless they’re longer than I’m thinking they are). Aside from that, the content, as everyone else has mentioned, is as expected. The doc really has me curious. Does Taker speak in it? Does he not? Do others speak? Is it a long narrative with the same voice (from Tombstone) describing things? (I’m hoping not.)
Undertaker’s my favorite of all time, but I’m seriously on the fence about this. I have every one of those matches with no blurring or stupid edits, and having the build videos (which are already on the DVDs of the shows I have) isn’t a good incentive to buy the BD. I’ll probably buy this, but why is it that Undertaker always gets the shaft on DVDs? This DVD is as bare bones as it gets.
The documentary doesn’t seem to have many chapters! :-s A 45-minute doc on the Streak, I’m betting, lol! Maybe longer, but not a “comprehensive biography” as previously stated. Will be a bare DVD disc though if it’s so short!
I’m pleased that they look to be addressing his Bad Ass era in the documentary, something they’ve shyed away from on the 21st Century DVD set and others recently. I do NOT think we will get ‘Rollin’ on the soundtrack though. Vince cares not for the ABA gimmick anymore; while he has to show it as it’s part of the Streak, he isn’t going to invest that kind of money for music rights into it when it’s a dead part of Taker’s career.
His Mania XII match with Kevin Nash was good, and the best one is Mania 25 vs HBK. I thought Shawn was going to break the streak but it’s WrestleMania and Taker doesn’t lose.
Looks like disc 1 is a documentary, if they have interviews with some of his opponents it would be great. Also hope they leave the original entrance themes. People shouldn’t complain since this is what was expected.
i dont like it…
So the blu ray will be 3 disc correct can’t wait
I only have two request for this DVD set! Re-Blur The Attitude Era on this set because everytime they release WM17 matches it’s the same horrendous Blurring job that literally covers half the ring and Please WWE for the love of god pay Limp Bizkit some money for the rights to use “Rollin” for WrestleMania 17-19 It would make the set so much better and it’s only for one set after that u can go back to that horrible dubbing you do to his ABA entrance themes!
I have to say, I usually don’t care about dubbed music (I think there are usually better things WWE can spend their money on), but in this case I’m going to agree with you. Such a big part of Taker’s WM legacy is the entrances. I’d love to see them in tact.
I wonder how they’ll handle XIX given Limp Bizkit performed the song live, on camera (even though he had already switched his theme song when he turned heel at the end of 2001).
Disc 4 is an absolute treat
A great blu Ray extra would have been having all the victims that are still with us have sit down and talk about there experience with the Undertaker like there thoughts going in before the match and there thoughts after the match took place. And maybe a pole on who would face him next and why they think that person could end the streak. I would really love to see a Undertaker vs Sting match. There is no other wrestler alive i would rally care to see him face besides Sting for the Streak. But it would have to be the Crow Sting
the only other guy i’d like to see face Undertaker is Brock Lesnar. I always thought he would be the one guy to end the streak. If it match happens, I hope Lesnar will be fully committed to it. He has potential to give Taker a hard time to win and brings more competition to him than any previous “victim” does.
What, Lesnar ends his Streak then disappears from the company? No thanks!
The documentary should be good, but for blu-ray extras i wish they could put some entire segments that led to some of his Mania matches.. This is convenient for a fan like me who likes to watch Takers Mania matches around Wrestlemania time. Switching WM anthology/Mania discs and is annoying
I can’t wait I am sure my Walmart won’t have this so I have to buy it online I am not sure if I will buy the dvd or Blu ray have not decide yet .
The Blu-ray better breakdown like this:
Disc 1 – Doc
Disc 2 – Wins 1-15
Disc 3 – Wins 16-20 plus packages
Anything else would be silly and if anybody thinks that disc 2 is too full, his total match time for his first 15 matches is a little over 3 hours. The total match time for his last 5 matches is around 2 1/2 hours. Plus, his last 5 matches are the HD matches, and those are the ones we get packages for, so this is the smartest breakdown.
UGH so many repeats!
Does the release of this set now mean that 21-0 is unlikely (I really hope not) or is it purely to mark the momentous feat?
Vince stated in an interview a few years back that Taker will likely retire undefeated at WM. He said that when you have something as popular as the streak, stopping it for no reason makes no sense. I can agree with this. Of course, plans over there change daily
Nah, just means more releases down the line for future landmarks like 25-0 and 30-0. lol. XD
Vince said that to throw us off, but of course somebody is going to end it! It’s too big and dramatic a moment not to do. Now that he’s hit 20-0, it will probably end at th next WrestleMania. It would be years before anybody could out-do him, so he would still hold the record for ages!
The only question is, will they make a new star with it (danger of them leaving the company afterwards there!), or will the end it with a wider Undertaker-based story arc, like haveing Kane finally beat him at ‘Mania, thus bringing their family story to a conclusion? ‘Taker has been on record saying that if anybody ended the Streak, he’d hope it was Kane.
The documentary doesn’t seem to have many chapters! :-s A 45-minute doc on the Streak, I’m betting! Lol. Not a “biography” as previously stated. Would be a bare DVD disc though!
Another rumor floating around was that Undertaker wanted to face Kane at WM again and he wanted Kane to end it. It’s a hard choice to make, but if HBK, HHH, Edge, Orton, Flair, Big Show, Kane etc, couldnt get it done then I am fresh out of ideas as to who Undertaker and Vince would pick.
The Streak should be something that is NEVER broken.
Quite frankly for all Taker’s years to the company, and the fact that he is the WWE’s greatest charecter – they should give Taker the ultimate honor of never having his streak broken or replicated.
Plus no one currently deserves the rub from ending the Streak, also given their stop start pushes recently they’d have someone end the streak at WM then loose clean to the AA by Cena the next night.
It’s all very well saying that, but you have to ask yourself, what happens say, 30 or even 50 years after Mark Callaway’s death, when the wrestling business is still plodding on, and they need to have a new star, a new WrestleMania streak? Your saying they can NEVER do a longer or better streak than the Undertaker, ever again? You have to think about the future of the business. Making The Undertaker look like a God is all very well while he’s alive and still in the business, but what about after? He has to be shown to be fallible and older right at the end of his career, to serve notice that his time, as great as it was, is over and newer guys will pick up the baton from then on.
Daniel, is there anyway a feature can be put on the site where we can delete our own comments or something? I accidentally posted the above as a reply to Mark because the board was still set up to do so after I replied to him previously, but I actually just wanted to post it on the comments. It’s really annoying when you make an error on this site because you haveno freedom to un-do it and it makes me look incompetent, lol.
I really hope the documentary actually hits all 20 matches. The fact that it gets its own disc is a good sign for the length of the feature.
Also, love the listing of “Victim” in place of traditional “vs.” match listings.
Yeah I think it could be a good sign they give the documentary an complete DVD and Blu-ray (almost). However the number of chapters (8) looks a bit scary in terms of total length of the feature. Fingers crossed Taker gets a decent doc!
OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can’t believe it !!!!!!!
I’m not getting this…
Disappointing blu ray extras but the match list was of course predicted and that for me is a definite buy. Hope the documnetary is good.
First day pick up for me! Big time.
Well duh, we pretty much knew that match listing
Ya but, the match listing is pretty big, almost as big as your penis.
The matches on blu-ray is not necessairly a big sell to me, but disc one raises plenty of questions and sounds interesting. for the blu-ray extra of pictures actually sounds interesting. WWE can put some amazing video packages together as they have done for Hogan, HBK and Flair
It would have been nice if they’d put together a video/history package for all 20 matches as blu-ray extras.
Are all the matches in their entirety as if so this will be brilliant?
The matches were expected, interested in Disc 1.
Was hoping the Blu-ray exclusives would be segments and promos leading to the Wrestlemania match.
Still picking this up.
yeah the 1st Disc of BOTH the DVD & Blu-Ray Sets being dedicated to NO-matches,wonder how the Documentary will work out as?
