It’s time for more OWEN WEEK coverage today at WrestlingDVDNetwork.com…
We can exclusively reveal that WWE will be showing a previously “unseen” interview with Owen Hart in the new “Owen – Hart of Gold” DVD! The interview, shown at times during the documentary, comes from 1996 and looks to be camcorder type footage of fairly decent video quality.
Take a first look in the screenshot below – to see the interview in full be sure to pre-order your copy of WWE’s Owen DVD or Blu-ray for next month by clicking here to Amazon.com.
In another update on the Owen Hart DVD, take a look again at the content listing and you’ll see a number of segments interspersed in the main documentary feature called “Owen Tales”.
These short segments feature stars talking about various Owen stories that are personal to them and of course pranks he was known for pulling on the road. To get a feel for what they’re all about, check out this brand new clip which previews “Owen Tales: Riding with Fans”:

Got your hands on the “Undertaker: The Streak 21-1 (R.I.P Edition)” DVD coffin yet?
While the coffin box set is a limited edition release in the United States, we have learned this week from a source in the know that there were more than 666 copies produced.
The erroneous 666 figure came from the Amazon.com listing which still says the following:
An update of the 2012 “20-0” release to celebrate/commemorate the end of The Streak. Limited edition of 666 copies in a special wooden coffin case.
The US version of the box sets are not numbered, as you can see from the photo below.
The UK versions, out this coming Monday, will be individually numbered out of 2101.

FAKE: A few WDN readers have been in touch asking about the authenticity of this “Chyna Fitness” WWE DVD listed on eBay.com. This title was a VHS only release back in the year 2000, so unfortunately what you’re seeing is almost definitely a fake, even if it looks the part!
As for some real Diva-themed goodies coming up on eBay in the next few days, add these $10 auctions to your “Watch List” and grab more out-of-print titles for your collection:
$10.00 – WWF Divas: Tropical Pleasure DVD
$10.00 – WWF Divas in Hedonism DVD
$10.00 – WWF Lita: It Just Feels Right DVD
I wonder if that interview with Owen was done on the Wrestle Vessel, the WWF cruise ship trips they used to do in 1996 and 1997. I remember they had Mr. Perfect do an interview with Bret on board the ship in 1996 also.
That Chyna DVD isn’t fake, but it’s a bootleg. Look at where the DVD is being shipped from. Malaysia. They bootleg a lot of WWE events or whatnot.
I think you’re splitting hairs over terminology here. If it’s not an official release, I think ‘fake’ is a fair term.
Key thing that identified it as a bootleg is the phrase ‘Word Wrestling Entertainment’ (which they do not use anymore) and the old 2000s phrase ‘PlayStation 2 Compatible’ on the back, lol!
Yeah, ‘fake’ and ‘bootleg’ are the same thing. As far as the ‘Playstation 2 compatible’ thing, several legit WWF/WWE dvds during that time frame did have that written on the back near the fine print.
I believe some of the Malaysian ones were legit (Sendi Mutiara?) but I very much doubt this Chyna one is.
Sendi Mutiara is indeed on the sticker on the back and also was product date of 13/11/07 (2007) Certainly does look the part and reminds me of the wcw dvd from japan.
Well that Owen tale has confirmed that stories like that is totally the reason to buy it!
