Today Silver Vision UK gave the verdict on whether or not the recently removed WWE DVDs will be returning.
The notice below was published on their Facebook page, confirming that Silver Vision will not cease trading and that all WWE titles will return, beginning with WrestleMania 28.
I am thrilled to say that the production issues have been resolved and pre-orders will be returning to the website shortly, starting with WrestleMania 28 later today. More will be added over the coming days as we get them scheduled. We’d like to thank you all for your patience and understanding over the past few weeks – once again you’d proved that we have the best customers in the world.
Keep an eye on Silvervision.co.uk for the returning listings. Note that anyone who previously purchased WrestleMania 28, Best of Clash of the Champions, or ECW Unreleased on the site will need to do so again due to all previous orders being cancelled.
Check out my friends website for super cheap WCW/WWE/TNA goodies!
Doesn’t the fact that only the Wrestlemania 28 pre-order is back up and not the Clash of the Champions or any other pre orders suggest that the problems Silver Vision are having have not been totally resolved yet?
They did mention more pre-orders are to be listing this coming week, so hopefully not.
Even though I live in the United States but this is good news for Europe. I know some UKers are looking forward to getting new releases as opposed to importing them from the US.
The wm28 DVD has the rock great ones on there but the blu ray doesn’t?
That’s right.
True
I couldn’t care any less than I did previously. I always planned on buying from SilverVision, but I think they don’t ship to the US, if I’m correct?
I’m more interested in seeing the Over The Limit DVD cover already.
Yes you’re right. You can’t buy directly from them because they do not ship to North America, but you can get them from Amazon UK.
Thanks. I have looked on Amazon UK before, but they didn’t seem to have all the Tagged Classics that SilverVision does. I want to get all the In Your House events, but they didn’t seem to have all of them in stock at the time I looked.
They should have them, I bought every tagged classic their is from them!
That’s so freakin’ awesome! I am glad. Silvervision will be back with full force! :oD
This is great news. Hope they still do the buy 3 get 10% off deal.
********** News 🙂
Good news
I’ll be even more interested if Silver Vision releases region-free blu-rays again. I got my Survivor Series 2011 blu-ray from Amazon UK on Monday, and it worked fine. Not sure why some people on here said it wouldn’t work.
After that one TLC reportedly didn’t work on US players, so I wouldn’t get your hopes up too much. Also a few people here mentioned that new prints of SummerSlam 2011 etc are now locked to region B. Not certain about that last one but it’s feasible.
Definitely not getting my hopes up, just really grateful/lucky/happy that those were region-free. I picked up SummerSlam 2011 and Survivor Series 2011 blu-rays, and they were cheaper (individually) to import them than to buy the DVDs in Canada. I guess I got a copy from the older stock.
I’m sure it will be a very long time if North America ever gets any region-free discs from the UK. I wish we had at least half of the ppv blu-rays that the UK gets. I know this is a pipe-dream, but I can bet that Silver Vision will produce Extreme Rules 2012 on blu-ray and hopefully, somehow, that’s region free.
I love some of the comments on here about how people only caring about getting the listings early.
This is absolutely HUGEly important news for WWE DVD collectors the world over. It should interest every single person on this board, not just for the reason of getting early listings.
I just love how premature all the wrestling rumours websites were about them having lost the licence, lol.
Exactly, and making out that their “sources” confirm it. A certain one of the top news sites took our Rock/Cena DVD news as their own so I’m ready to vent. 😉
Well, they said “word is going ’round” so I believed them – I thought they meant within the Wrestling/DVD industry, behind closed doors! Now I realise they just meant word was going ’round amongst people who were jumping the gun and reaching their own conclusions on WWE DVD News.
If there was ever a warning to never believe anthing you read on a rumours site ever again, this is it! Alex Shelley WWE bound? Yeah right. Probably just because they read a post from some a-hole on another board saying he thinks so, lol!
Wrestlemania 28 now available for pre order on the site for release in July, just noticed that the toys r us exclusive “the rock-great ones” is on disc 2,is this included on all versions worldwide or just a UK exclusive?
Great news to us european fans!
they say patience is a virtue so glad i held back bring on july 🙂
glad they got it up and going… hate to see other wwe fans not have the dvd bluray copy for there collection
my only concern from this was whether or not we got match listings early
I was going to buy a multiregion blu-ray player yesterday. Fortunately it wasn’t in stock, so I didn’t buy anything. This is great news. I really hope we won’t experience something like this again.
I’d buy one anyway, you open up a whole new world of blu rays you can either get early or ones that never get UK releases to yourself. 😉
Isn’t it a Shame I ordered ECW and WCW Blu Rays last Friday from Austrailia. Where were you last week lol
Just for the record in my reply to people here I always said the situation will probably be resolved and the titles back, when all is said and done. 😉
Great news, hopefully we may see some new tagged classics at some point
Im with TommyD, if the situation has been resolved I’m hoping for some Falls Count Anywhere listings very very shortly, like now
I just want the match listing for “Falls Count Anywhere” Damnit!
It’ll come. 🙂 Either through Silver Vision or when our copy arrives.
WrestleManiaaaaaaa 28 on Blu-rayyy YES!
This is great news 🙂
Really good news for WWE Fans in Europa. 🙂
