  1. Tom says:

How did these matches make the cut? ( other than an obvious attempt to give royalties to current WWE employees/friends ):

    Ricky Morton vs ivon koloff
Midnight express vs rock n roll express
    Fabulous freebirds vs young pistols
    15-man battle royal full jobbers
    Steven regal vs dustin Rhodes
    Medusa vs bull nakano

That’s an entire disc wasted on crap!

  2. Tom says:

I just picked up Clash of the Champions. Very disappointing set. If you want to watch Ric Flair do his usual 5 spots over and over and over and over again and have the same match with different opponents, this set is for you. If you like low production values and terrible matches, this set is for you.
This set pails in comparison to the Rise and Fall of WCW, Starrcade, and WCW Nitro sets.
Save your money.( oh, and there was nothing special about the walmart release )

  3. Brad Attitude says:

i think subtitles will be needed whenever dusty rhodes speak.

  4. nightmare says:

Not sure if I am going to buy the ECW or not have not decide yet on it I have all the matches that they have on there anyway .

  5. StingaLing says:

Was anyone able to pick up a Clash DVD at Best Buy? Are the bonus matches on there?

  6. indyfan says:

You can buy uncut ECW dvds from RF Video or Highspots. For 30.00 each, you can get RVDs whole TV title reign. Raven vs Sandman, Raven vs Dreamer, Best of Cactus Jack, Entire ECW World title set, Entire Tag team title set. All the sets are 5 disc and up. I think best of Cactus Jack is 9 disc. So they may come on Dvd r but just back em up.

    • Dave says:

Those sets are pretty awesome, i have Raven vs Sandman, Raven vs Dreamer, Best of the Arena and Best of Eddie Gillbert…fantastic sets. Quality is pretty good too.

Thinking of getting Best of Cactus Jack and RVD’s TV title reign along with the History of ECW title and Tag titles.

      • indyfan says:

What site did you order them from? I’m skeptical about ordering from Rf Video . But High Spots charges a lot to ship to Canada. Rf Video charges like 6 bucks, Highspots charges almost 20.00

        • Dave says:

I live in Canada too…I ordered Best of the Arena from RF Video couple months back and shipping wasn’t that bad, it shipped about 2 days after my order and took about a week to arrive. I did read horror stories about their service last year, but decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised.

The rest i got from Highspots…shipping was pretty high, but they packed it extremely well, so didn’t receive loose discs and shipping was very fast…took about 3 days to arrive and no custom charges. Highspots is excellent, and they even gave ECW House Party 99 DVD for free when i put the “FREEDVD” code during their sale last month. Excellent service.

Hmm thanks for the reply. Im not sure what to do. I find 20.00 really crazy expensive. But i tried looking through Amazon.com and they actually had it cheaper… down to 12.00. Weird because its from HS but through Amazon. SO maybe i may get it through HS and just pay the 12.00. Thanks again for your reply.

            • Chris says:

Try HS’ ebay as well it’s always much cheaper for me to order through there for shipping to the UK than through their main site.

  7. Anonymous says:

Its a shame that WWE owns a full uncut and uncensored ECW library that only few will ever see.

  8. Anonymous says:

Who ripped these videos off of the DVD?
They need some new software. The audio is out of sync and the video looks like crap.
I can’t wait to watch these on Blu-Ray!

  9. dtrill1 says:

im super ready for both of these sets. im going to grab the bluray and dvd on both sets.

  10. Vincenzzzzzo says:

I like the format of these two DVD sets. Having Joey Styles host the ECW DVD is great. The format of matches, interviews in between, more matches is awesome. Just like the Best of WCW Nitro set.

  11. Anonymous says:

When are we going to get a match listing for the falls count anywhere/streetfight release?

  12. SRB says:

I laughed so hard when Foley snagged Whipwreck’s face haha

  13. Charlie1185 says:

Just saw 3 copies of Clash on DVD at Kmart, so good luck on snagging an early copy. No luck on the blu ray there though, so I guess I’ll wait

  14. Mark D says:

Like the look of that ECW video. It would be awesome if they filmed the Joey Styles segments in front of an ECW banner with shaky in and out camera work – like an old school ECW segment. #ECWOriginalStyle 🙂
