Jim Ross posted this little nugget on his blog recently:
“Will WWE ever produce a Kurt Angle DVD? I’d tentatively say yes especially if WWE thought it would sell. Why not? WWE owns tons of Angle footage that contains his best work as a pro.”
This week’s “Wild Wednesday” WWE DVD special offer at Silvervision.co.uk is Best Pay-Per-View Matches 2009-2010 (3-Disc DVD) for only £6.99.
In digital news, two new WWE titles were added to the Netflix streaming service, Rey Mysterio: Life of a Masked Man and all three volumes of Macho Madness: Ultimate Randy Savage Collection. The Mysterio video has also been made available to download on iTunes recently.

Benoit, while very instrumental in Angle’s career, turned out to be outshined by HBK when it came to working with Angle. Maybe mention him from a minimal standpoint, but not focus all that heavily on their rivalry.
Angle got ZERO interest from WWE a year or so back unfortunately. I’d like to see him back on the big stage, as there’s so much fresh talent that would benefit from working with him under the guidance of producers like Ricky Steamboat and James Gibson.
I agree with Brad. No matter how many choose to pretend Benoit never existed, he and Angle had many fantastic matches together and although wwe will never release those lost gems/classics, hopefully we can get a few clippings of their stuff together. i hope wwe will at least mention Benoit & Angle were the first smackdown tag team champions.
i hope the future kurt angle dvd will at least chris benoit otherwise it would look incomplete, similar to what wwe did with chris jericho’s dvd set. benoit was an important part of angle’s career from 2000-2003 whether it was partner, competitor or foe.
I think a Kurt angle DVD Is pretty much a Lock for the Future. Just a matter of him leaving TNA.
bro your wrong on that orton cena picture it was an i quit match at breaking point not a last man standing
‘It’s True, It’s True’ being released as one half of a Tagged Classic would be pretty awesome. Possibly with the first Chris Jericho VHS as the other half.
WWE planned on doing an Angle set in 2004, but cancelled it in favor of a one-disc Cena.
An Angle DVD would be awesome! i remember in 2004 or 2005, there was one suppose to be scheduled, websites had it up for preorder til the day it was suppose to be released…it just never happened.
As long as Angle is contracted by TNA, i don’t think WWE will release a documentary, if they were it will most likely just be 3 discs of matches.
Angle is definitely long overdue. It would likely be one of the most anticipated like Jericho. His only release was the It’s True It’s True from 2000.
Many DVDs from wreslters are over due and for sure Kurt Angle is one of them. I have said it so many times before but a Rick Rude DVD is very over due in my opinion. I think WWE releases way too many DVDs on things we dont need and ignores the thigns we do need. I feel another tag team DVD should be released although the first one was fantastic. I would love an Ultimate Warrior 3 disc and I think a set dedicated to those who have passed away would be a great tribute.,
When Kurt retires or leaves tan they will definitely do a DVD for now as long as he is with tan they won’t! Will the DVD sell?? HELL YEAH
An Angle DVD is a no brainer. Even if he wasn’t involved, you don’t need a documentary. I would take 3 discs of just his matches.
I can’t see a Kurt angle home video coming out till he is through with tna,
The best way to do an Angle DVD is if he is involved. Just like when they did the Bret Hart DVD.
And to go on Anonymous’ point, A Bruno DVD probably wont’ happen due to their relationship with him, the Sting DVD should also be done involving him, most of Jerry Lawler’s best stuff WWE doesn’t own, and I don’t know what you could do for a Ventura DVD.
But a Angle DVD would be the best out of all of them along with Sting.
a kurt angle dvd is long overdue just like bruno sammartino, goldberg, sting,cm punk, jerry lawler, and jesse ventura dvds.i’ll buy angle’s dvd in a heartbeat when it comes, which i hope is next year.
