— It was announced yesterday that Europe will be getting another exclusive “Best of WWE” DVD. This one is entitled “Undertaker vs. Batista” and contains three of their matches from PPV. It’s available to pre-order from Silver Vision now.
— According to a recent interview conducted with WWE Hall of Famer Greg “The Hammer” Valentine there may be a WWE DVD planned for him.
In the interview with ScrippsNews.com Valentine said his income was slashed in half because he was forced to miss bookings while recently recovering, but he received good news that WWE has plans to release his autobiography and a DVD of his best matches.
— According to a member of Wrestlingfigs.com Forums claiming to work at a CDPlus store, the computer systems they use apparently list the upcoming Chris Jericho DVD as “Breaking The Code”. This is NOT yet confirmed, just some more speculation to add to the mix.
— The Undertaker’s Deadliest Matches will debut on InDemand next month, whilst Best PPV Matches 2009-2010 is available to watch on pay-per-view this month from tomorrow. Below is a video promoting this.
The Dog Collar match was on the Greatest Superstars of the 80’s 3 disc set.So I could go w/out it on this one (If released with new comentary would be sweet).By the way Valentine is scheduled for a Dog Collar Match at the Coveleski Stadium on August 14th 2010 in South Bend, IN, my “neck of the woods.”
Believe it or not but i was watching the steamboat set and for some reason thought of the Hammer. You could dedicate an entire disc to his matches with Garvin. He also had classics with Beefcake while tagging in the early days. You’ll probably get some of his NWA stuff on there. His dog collar match with Piper will be there and his IC run. Finally, we might see some of his tags with Honky towards the end of his career. Sounds like a promising idea.
A Valentine set? Better have his match with Backlund from 79 on it, and his match with Garvin from RR 90.
