The “WrestleMania Monday” DVD (and Blu-ray) collection will arrive in the United Kingdom exactly 5 weeks today — on ‘Mania Monday itself — April 3rd, via Amazon.co.uk.
Fans in the United States will get the RAW After ‘Mania-themed DVD documentary in just 3 weeks due to WWE’s decision to bring the release forward and capitalize on the build to WrestleMania 33.
Unfortunately, however, there will NOT be a Blu-ray edition along with that.
The Blu-ray was of course planned for the region at one point, as evidenced by pre-orders recently going live and cover assets being unveiled. Over the weekend the US Blu-ray version disappeared from an internal schedule we have access to in the running of WrestlingDVDNetwork.com, which suggests it’s only a matter of time until those product listings are removed by retailers.
We now consider it confirmed that while “WrestleMania Monday” is coming to DVD worldwide, it is only scheduled for a Blu-ray offering in the UK, which is also supported by the news that in Australia only DDP, Royal Rumble and WrestleMania are slated for Blu-ray in the next few months.
Grab a copy of WWE’s “WRESTLEMANIA MONDAY” DVD (or Blu-ray)…

– UK/Europe: April 3rd. Pre-order Mania Monday on DVD (or Blu-ray) now via Amazon.co.uk.

No blu ray in the US? It’s news like this that makes me glad that I invested in a region free player.
Bummed that DDP will not be on Blu-Ray. Was looking forward to seeing the exclusives, especially the Slamborree battle royal, and the DDP vs Renegade TV title match.
I meant on Blu-Ray in the U.S.
DDP will be on Blu-ray in the US. Everywhere in fact.
Thank you for your response and for clearing things up. I must have misread something. Sorry.
It’s a bit odd with the Wrestlemania Monday release. If you go to wwedvd.co.uk and look at their release schedule, it says this release is a 3 disc DVD only. But you are able to pre-order the blu-ray. I hope the blu-ray will not be cancelled in Europe.
That’s just a typo left from when the Blu-ray was momentarily ‘cancelled’ in the UK too. As things stand it’s definitely being released in the UK so no worries there.
Sounds good! I like the blu-ray exclusives for this one, so I’m glad the blu-ray is still released over here.
20th anniversary “celebration” of the Screw-job incident comes early: Really do not understand this uncertainty that WWE keeps doing to important part of their fanbase.teasing Bluray versions, then only making it happen for certain parts of fans..
By now, Im beginning to suspect that the motive is something like: “We can, We will..cos what can you do about it..? get it like it is, or other way than this..it’s the 9,99’er for ever and ever you have to pay!”
And for the record.. I’m european, so can get Bluray of those I want..I just feel it is a disrespecting attitude of Vince and Co.. not that Vince and Co. care.
I have already preordered the blu ray on Amazon ;-(
