Also, at this link the four separate WrestleMania Anthology DVD volumes are now priced at less than $20 each. All great deals!

For those asking, we do not currently have any further information on the WrestleMania re-releases which are supposed to be released next Tuesday. We can see they are listed on multiple schedules and we are fairly confident they will go ahead. They were, however, last minute additions and are not following the usual procedure of being announced a few months prior to release. If we do receive further details we will be sure to let everybody know.

The new WrestleMania 1-15 DVDs can be pre-ordered for $10.49 each at Amazon.com.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com suggests a Bruno Sammartino DVD is definitely in the works.

WWE is working on a Bruno Sammartino DVD. One theme I’ve heard is the company following him over Wrestlemania weekend to document his return to the company after so many years of strife and personal issues. Sammartino and Triple H were said to get along great over the weekend at the Arnold Classic.

Matt Olivari let us know that WWEDVD.com.au have now updated the extras list for the Elimination Chamber 2013 DVD.

  1. Mike says:

I still have, and watch the copies I made years ago… 1-15 I transferred to DVD from the original WM VHS Box Set, and 15-20 from DVR to DVD. I’m at the point I’ll only be interested when they come out with the first 20 on Blu-ray. Of course I’m pretty sure that even though it’ll be nice when they’re all out unblurred, there will always be the alternative music problem.

  2. Justin says:

Most of the cover art for the Wrestlemania DVD’s can be seen at walmart.com

    • David says:

Some of those look pretty good…very basic, but effective. But i could imagine people here complain about “spoilers” (like always) – specifically 4 and 10. Pretty funny if people consider events from 20 years ago spoilers.

Only thing i wonder is if the longer WMs from 4-7 be 2 disc or double sided DVDs.

  3. Shank Hill says:

That WrestleMania anthology is a ripoff. Terrible blur job (I’m not a guy who’s bothered by blurring but they ruined WM X-Seven), tons of music edited out and it’s just a waste of money when the PPV or even Coliseum/WWF Home Video versions of those shows can be found on any tape trading forum for cheap.

I’d rather have the show in its original form on a bootleg than an ultra bastardized version in a nice case. Sorry, that’s probably just me but I’d rather have the shows as I remember them.

    • LP1 says:

      I agree completely.

    • Stuart says:

Yeah totally agree. I would like to see original music like Demolition, Jive Soul Bro and others on there. I don’t think all the original music from Wrestlemania I will be there. Also I think that all WWF references will be on there as well as the WWF scratch logo, seeing as WWE came to an agreement with the panda people so they can use all WWF words and signs on archieve footage.

  4. Harry Faversham says:

Will the review man be doing a review of The Dungeon Collection? Thanks.

  5. mason says:

dear wwedvdnews quick fyi i was at fye 2 days ago and found the john cena my life ultimate fan edition there for $19.99 i picked it up just letting you know that they carry this

  6. Paul says:

Already got the WM Anthology set. Just waiting for the WM Ultimate Blu-ray Anthology (crossing fingers In hope that it happens one day)…

  7. Blurred Vision says:

Yeah grab these Anthology sets if you want to own horrible copys of WM 14 15 16 17 18 as the blurring is that bad sometimes it covers the actual wrestlers because of the turnbuckles and ring apron. The best way to get copys of those WM’s is through Tagged Classics! Simple as that!

    • Hulkamaniac418 says:

How do those tagged classic dvds work? Will they work in my DVD player (I live in NY)? Are they unedited?

  8. Steve213 says:

With there being no promotion part of me thinks that these Wrestlemania re-releases will simply be copies of the anthology thrown into individual cases. Also, I don’t see the Bret Hart Dungen collection anywhere on the bestbuy site. Does anyone know if they will have it for sale today?

  9. Marty says:

The advertisement on last night’s RAW for the Bret Hart Dungeon Collection was odd.

Compare it with the previous two releases:

Best Of RAW And Smackdown 2012: “Rock Concert. Brock’s return. And many more. Experience the best in this collection.”

Best Of Nitro Vol. 2: “Hogan. Flair. Sting. Goldberg. DDP. Savage. Nash. And many more. Relive more of the best of Nitro in this collection!”

Bret Hart Dungeon Collection: “Watch this set because Sheamus watches it in his spare time.”

    • Daniel Bee says:

Maybe it’s an attempt to get the kiddies invested in it who would usually have no interest in a DVD on an older star.

  10. That WM Anthology deal is an absolute steal. I got mine for $130 used and I thought that was robbery!

  11. LP1 says:

It’s about time they started including the pre-show matches on the dvd/br releases. That’s been one of my pet peeves since last year. They released the Mania 28 pre-show match(which they always do) and then stopped after that. I can’t think of any reason for why they didn’t release the others.

  12. Steven says:

wwedvd.co.uk confirmed to me Last week what the extras were for DVD / Blu Ray for the UK
