New Tagged Classics DVD Set, Future of WWE PPVs on Blu-ray?

Today Silver Vision announced a new WWE Tagged Classics DVD set, containing WWF U.S. Rampage ’91 & U.S. Rampage ’92.

It’s to be released in July to UK/Europe, and you can pre-order it now.

 
Silvervision also announced they will be releasing WWE Extreme Rules 2011 on Blu-ray after all. It will be an exclusive 2-Disc Blu-ray set, released in July to the UK. View or order that for yourself over at Silvervision.co.uk.

 
We can confirm that for the USA and Canada the following upcoming WWE PPVs will also be released on Blu-ray:

Over The Limit 2011 (single disc) – June 21
Capitol Punishment 2011 (double disc) – July 19
Money in the Bank 2011 (single disc) – Aug 16

    Money in the Bank is down as a single disc BD. The schedule we have lists combo packs as combo packs, and Capitol Punishment isn’t one according to that. Two Blu-ray discs.

    I just wonder if the Capitol Punishment and Money In The Bank 2-disc BDs could be either Blu-ray/DVD Combo Packs or like what the WWE did with some of the 2010 PPVs with the 2nd being RAW and SmackDown.
