WWE Top 50 Incidents DVD Censored, Lesnar/Angle Iron Man & More

July 9, 2011 by Daniel Bee

You’ve seen the photos, now get a video look at Rey Mysterio: Life of a Masked Man in Gerald Orr’s video below. The DVD is released this coming Tuesday in the United States.

It appears the European market will be receiving a different cover for “OMG! Top 50 Incidents in WWE History” on DVD and Blu-ray, due to the “graphic” image of Edge spearing Mick Foley through the flaming table. This was revealed yesterday when the DVD was added to Silvervision.co.uk with temporary artwork. The reason given was the need to appease retailers.

According to BBFC, the Kurt Angle vs. Brock Lesnar Iron Man match (Smackdown 09/18/2003) runs for 1 hour and 4 minutes on the upcoming Greatest Superstars of the 21st Century DVD.

That indicates the match is indeed shown in its entirety, without the breaks usually present in matches broadcast on TV.

Macho Madness: The Randy Savage Ultimate Collection is now available to download on Vudu priced at $2.99 to rent and $9.99 to own. It’s in three volumes and the runtimes are 157mins (Vol. 1), 174mins (Vol. 2) and 140mins (Vol.3).

Rey Mysterio: Life of a Masked Man, with a runtime of 117mins, will be available on there from July 12th in SD, HD and HDX. Greatest Superstars of the 21st Century will hit Vudu on July 26th in the same three formats, with a runtime of 55mins. It’s expected that other digital platforms will also carry these titles on or around the same dates.

I don’t understand why they can’t put the whole match on DVDs, even if it’s without commentary. So glad to see it being done and with a great match that I’ve waited for on DVD. I was upset when I missed it on 24/7 about a year ago.

  2. Damn, Don’t worry we’ll get a lovely big picture of John Cena 🙂

Potentially Jesse im just going of recent memory I seemed to think it started 15 mins before the end of the first hour. I’ll download the 2004 torrent tonight n post back

  4. Jesse Lanning says:

    I mean a postmatch celebration

  5. Jesse Lanning says:

actually 4 min is enough time. If u remember, they started that match pretty quick and smackdown ended as soon as it was over. There was not prematch celebration

  6. Anonymous says:

My money is still on an edited version. If you think about it 4 minutes isn’t very long for after match footage, entrances & possibly a build up video. I would bet around 45-50 mins for the match and 14 mins for the rest

  7. Brett Mix says:

Good news on Angle-Lesnar, am picking it up for this alone, have the match at **** 1-4 currently.

  8. Dave says:

Great news on Angle/Lesnar…i’m actually pumped for the Blu-ray, definite must buy.

  9. Not sure about the length of the digital greatest superstars since its so short. looking forward to watching/reviewing the macho man and Rey”s videos this next week.
