“The Attitude Era – Volume 2” will be released on Tuesday, November 4th, 2014.
Information we’ve received reveals that the three disc DVD set is slated to deliver “over 8 hours” of Attitude Era footage and several matches not previously seen on past WWE Home Video releases. We can also confirm the go ahead of a two disc Blu-ray edition.
You may recall that the first Attitude Era DVD was also released in November, back in 2012. That one had a documentary. We expect this one to be more of a match compilation with new interviews between the featured content. The official synopsis follows below.
“The Attitude Era Volume 2” continues to tell the tale of the controversial and revolutionary Attitude Era by uncovering even more buzz-generating moments and focusing on the depth of the roster and the forgotten gems of the era.
Included along with the outstanding in-ring action are never-before-heard stories from some of the featured Superstars including: Ron Simmons, Mark Henry, Sunny, The Godfather, Jerry Lawler, X-Pac, Billy Gunn, Gerald Brisco, Steve Austin, The Rock, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, and more.
Highspots.com released the “Harley Race: Greatest Wrestler on God’s Green Earth” DVD!

“Road Warriors: The Life and Death of the Most Dominant Tag Team in Wrestling History” is the latest documentary from a WWE DVD that’s available to stream on the WWE Network.
This eBay auction for the rare Judgment Day and Vengeance 2002 DVDs will come to an end later today. Both are the tricky to find US versions, rather than the Canadian releases.
Also up for grabs today on eBay are these great prices on the WrestleMania box set:
$38.99 – WrestleMania Anthology DVD Box Set
$50.00 – WrestleMania Anthology DVD Box Set (Free Shipping)
They’re saying more matches n interviews.. Please include the 1st Hell in a cell – HBK Vs Taker w/Kane’s entry + Michaels interview w/Vince b4 being fired as the Commish whilst in the ring‼️‼️
I hope they have new interviews in between the matches with Austin, Rock, HHH, Foley, Kane, Jericho ect.
Looking forward to this and I want DX searching for Undertaker on this volume 2.
Mark with the end of WWE magazine this September , what will happen to the planned best of WWE Main Event volumes?
I’d say it casts doubt over them to say the VERY least.
I think, 2015 is the time where a Ultimate collection homage to Shane o’Mac would come to its right.
I’m thinking, it could be released shortly after WM 31…to include his appearence in some sort of form, maybe to accelerate or conclude or what ever angle he can contribute to the Authority angle.
The ultimate collection will have all the matches and segments that Shane has participated in, both singles and tagged matches.
As I suggested before, this Shane set could be part of a monster McMahon set, seeing the 2006 McMahon re-released on Bluray, with matches and segments from 2004 and beyound, being, 2015 will be the 30 years mark since McMahon’s brought wrestling out to a wider ordiens.
On another note, I really hope there will be a Demolition homage too soon, and a HOF induction to that Axed and Smashing team.. 😉
That team is responsible for the coolest opening entrances numbers 1 and 2 in Royal Rumble history..
What a year for WWE dvds. Randy Savage, Sting, The Attitude Era vol 2, Paul Heyman, and Baaaaaaatistaaaaaaaa. Ok not Batista.
I hope there will be a Best Buy exclusive DVD set like the first attitude era set, but with better extras this time around.
It’s too bad they don’t release more double-packs of related releases. I would consider getting the second volume if it was packaged with the first Attitude Era set.
Just order both from Amazon in November. Then you’ll get them packaged together in the same envelope.
If your just looking for the DVD of the first one – BestBuy.com has a two pack with the Triple H DVD-King Of Kings for $9.99. (Just getting the DVD alone its – $17.99 there.) Unfortunately the Blu-Ray is priced at $34.99 there. Maybe WWE Shop or Best Buy.com or someone else will have the Vol 1 DVD or Blu-Ray priced low – like $9.99 when Vol 2 comes out.
FYE stores in the U.S. are selling the Attitude Era Blu-ray for $6.99. They have been for a few months now.
This sounds like it will be better than Volume 1 was. Now all we need is Best Of Nitro Volume 3
…and Falls count Anywhere… vol. 2 and ECW (Unreleased vol. 3..so let us hope all 3 of those will start the release-year of 2015. 🙂
YESSSS!
I would like to see a Best of In Your House Vol. 2.
Christmas comes early, a month earlier than usually..just like in 2012.. ooooooh Hell yeaaaaaah, the Ho-train is riding again, full of Puppies! 😉
That’s actually my auction on eBay…thanks for advertising it Daniel Bee and wrestlingdvdnews.com! Still 3.5 hours until the auction ends =)
Should’ve done 2 separate auctions. Some people might need one dvd but not the other.
