As we’ve mentioned a few times now, WWE is coming out with a new Batista DVD named: “Batista – The Animal Unleashed“. This one hits stores across the United States on June 10th, following to the United Kingdom on June 23rd, and to Australia on July 2nd.
Here’s a reminder of the synopsis and a look at the newly revealed cover artwork.
The Animal, Batista, was one of the most dominant Superstars of the 21st century, until his abrupt departure from WWE in 2010. Now, the former WWE and World Heavyweight Champion is back to reclaim his place at the top of the food chain. In this release, fans follow his path from the struggles that drove him away from WWE to his triumphant return in 2014.
Why did he leave? What conquests did he pursue while he was away? How did he train? And how does he plan to conquer WWE all over again?

Royal Rumble 2014, which featured Batista’s controversial Royal Rumble victory, will be released to the United Kingdom and Europe this coming Monday!
In time for then, the DVD and Blu-ray is shipping out now here at WWEDVD.co.uk.
Not only was the No Holds Barred movie released on Blu-ray format this month, it’s also recently been made available to watch instantly on Netflix US.
WDN reader John Scarabaggio sends word of his $5 auction for 5 WWE Blu-ray discs, listed here on eBay.com. Worth a look soon, as is this lot containing 9 Blu-rays.
The Batista isn’t that great…. but what can you expect from a guy that comes back and is absolutely hated?
I expect some OVW matches to appear!
Sting: The Ultimate Collection will include some of Sting’s best matches and promos with some of his all-time greatest rivals; including Goldberg, Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, Kevin Nash, Randy Savage, Ultimate Warrior, Lex Luger, Vampiro, Diamond Dallas Page, Cactus Jack, Terry Funk, Ric Flair, The Giant, Booker T., and many other opponents that he has wrestled!! There will even be segments where Sting gets interviewed about all of his matches and promos! Also, witness the full story on why he did not go to WWE!!
Good luck finding a Sting vs Warrior match. Also Sting just signed with WWE.
@LP1, I meant where they team up as the Bladerunners and when they faced the NWO.
Here it is………………….Sting: The Ultimate Collection!!!!
You are notโฆโฆโฆโฆ Mark D. ๐
The original, true and official Fantasy Concept has already done a Sting Ultimate Collection. Don’t fall for cheap imitations.
Mark, could you make a cover for a fantasy Daniel Bryan DVD/Blu-Ray.
I made a list of content for one that I call Daniel Bryan: The Movement:

@Mark D, I did not realize that it was already named. I am sorry. However, I am going to make it in the same type of format just like WWE did when they did the Ultimate Warrior’s DVD set. There also will be a TON of Blu-Ray Exclusive matches and promos, just like the Ultimate Warrior’s Blu-Ray set, but it will have at least 8 exclusives.
What will it be? You shall all find out soon…………
A Fantasy Concept is now in the works………….

Nevermind the cover because its not the cover that goes in the dvd/bluray player. What matters is the content, which is puzzling because Batista doesn’t have a library of matches to sell this set.
I totally agree with “Stub”…..Batista is nothing more than an overrated, egotistical, narcissistical dickhead that couldn’t hold a REAL wrestlers jock…..deal with that !!
People hate the cover!? how surprising! funny how people get so worked up over how a cover looks. Seriously why should the cover make such a big deal? you hardcore collectors are still going to buy it. All WWE has to do is slap their logo on a DVD/Blu-ray and the people complaining on here will be the same people running over the Best Buy and Walmart to buy it on release date.
You hit it right on the head.
I would do the typical “young male” macho cover because that is the main demo being advertised to. I hated the Beatle themed attitude era cover it made no sense at all. The new warrior cover was great and the wcw ppv cover was aswell. Other than that the covers have been so bad!!! Maybe that because when a release is announced in imagine what it should look like and the real thing never lives up to the hype. Ppv covers have been ok. Very interested to see mania 30 cover!
What will hurt this is the irrational reaction to Batista when he returned. This sounds like it is designed for the idea of Batista returning and winning the belt at Wrestlemania with the fans behind him. Obviously that didn’t happen. The biggest question for me is the content…what could they show that would get people to buy it.
Unreleased matches from his first run, I’d guess.
Terrible cover, what were they thinking??? please does somebody know where to apply for a job at wwe home video because I think they need my help. Thank you
You’d just put the same old “young male oriented” looking macho cover on every set instead of having a sense of variety.
Don’t own the last one and won’t be buying this one.overrated douchebag
This will be one of the greatest DVDs of all time. Deal with it!
I agree! and that was well said.
I may buy this Blu-Ray but thats after seeing what the content is like first. It all depends on the kind of Documentary & Matches for me.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the documentary is a re-release to “I Walk Alone” with added interview pieces and footage after 2010 and a new list of matches.
I’d have to guess that this will be a poor selling dvd/bluray set.
After Royal Rumble, I think I would have hit the pause button on this project. If you asked Vince or Triple H right now if a Batista dvd is a good idea, I think we all know the answer.
I love that picture of Ryback on Batista’s new DVD. Nose piercing is very masculine too. God, I hope the content can save this set. It would be nice if it had Warrior’s layout.
There’s nothing wrong with having a sense of style. It annoys me that wrestling fans are so fixated on masculinity and intensity and so on. This artform has much more to offer than that and I often feel the core fans are holding it back. It’s sad that many of you are so macho that you can’t even appreciate an aesthetically pleasing cover.
Yes, exactly. Like I’m the only one in the world who thought his skinny jeans looked ridiculous… And he looks ridiculous too. He’s another steroid freak who is missing the message here. Me talking about the way he looks is 100% the fault of WWE. Batista is a packaged wrestler. It’s WWE’s fault he looks so dumb and it’s their fault he cannot wrestle. Aesthetics are a matter of opinion just like a movie or food in a restaurant. The cover sucks. He doesn’t have enough good matches to get another release.
Gotta love the ultra close-up of Batista face in HD.
Cover could’ve been a lot better.
