Recently on wwedvdnews.com we reported that the WWE looks to be producing DVD sets incorporating all Monday Night Raw episodes beginning in 1993. It now is confirmed by Amazon that “The Best of Raw Season 1 & 2 DVD” is set for release in August 2010 in the United States.
As speculated earlier these upcoming Raw season DVD sets will most likely show highlights of episodes to date beginning with 1993, with certain matches, promos & video packages present. Given constraints on quantity of footage available to a DVD disc and licensing issues surrounding the TV shows it would be very unlikely to see every episode of Monday Night War in their entirety.
Right now it looks like a rumored concept of WWE Raw Season DVD sets being released is becoming a reality, beginning with a set based on Raw in 1993, perhaps also incorporating 1994 in the same set.

Three discs based on 1993 Raw? Will they include all the main events? Or will they rehash most of the stuff on the 15th anniversary disc?
The loser-leaves town match between Perfect and Flair needs to be included in full.
Excellent, need to see more Savage/Crush rivalry, Michaels/Jannetty rivalry, Bret putting on a great match with whatever gimmick. Mr. Perfect, Heel Doink, Heenan, Lawler what’s not to love?
