Here we are with the final 2012 DVD/Blu-ray cover art reveal: WWE Best Pay-Per-View Matches 2012.
This 3 Disc DVD and 2 Disc Blu-ray hits stores on December 26, 2012 [pre order now] and (as the name suggests) will feature some of the Best PPV Matches from 2012.
Knowing the eyes of the world are upon them, the goal of every WWE Superstar is to appear on a pay-per-view event, and once there, they desire to steal the show by putting on the best matches of the night. Now you can enjoy the best PPV matches of 2012 in one DVD collection. Where they are battling for championship gold, personal pride, to settle a grudge or more, the stars of Raw & SmackDown presents more than a dozen of the greatest PPV bouts of the year.

To me the design of this seems familiar because of that fan made Wrestlemania 28 PPV poster that made the rounds on the web, like on Reddit and places like that. I think there was another too with the “vintage” look.
Also I really like the cover alot it reminds me of old school wrestling show that they hold at gyms or school very cool idea and has to be one of the best cover so far this year.
the cm punk vs ryback match from hell in a cell would be a nice last minute addition to this set.night of champions john cena vs cm punk has to be a match of the year candidate should be on this list.
I thought last years cover was really good, but I think this one is better by far. Another great cover. Looking forward to getting some of those PPV matches in Blu-ray finally.
Look at the bottom you can see “Featuring Brock Lesnar” that pretty much confirms either Cena or HHH match. Due to Cena match having blood in it I think it will be the HHH match.

As far as matches go I can imagine them putting the hhh v Lesnar match from Summerslam to showcase that pay per view as the other main event matches failed to deliver. The Miz v Mysterio was a little gem as well I anticipate that being on there. As other matches go I hope they include:

Those are dirtsheet rumors like always. So what if they’re planning another match?! If WWE could still make money on a rematch then they would stupid not to. Of course smarks are going to whine like always but other fans would probably love to see a rematch. WM28 was the highest bought WM in history thanks to Rock vs Cena.
Its like how they advertised Wm25 as the “25th anniversary” which it wasn’t but the 24th…it’s all marketing.

Love the artwork! Im guessing that I will already have some of these matches. But this and the best of raw/smackdown are always some of my favorite releases.
This is why I don’t buy WrestleMania DVDs or DVDs just because of one match. Why buy the Rock vs. Cena DVD when you can get that match and many others on this DVD?
Rock vs. Cena includes a documentary, every buildup promo leading to WrestleMania, their matches together (obviously), and a bunch of segments that were cut from the documentary. I’d say Rock vs. Cena is a good buy.
Using the WrestleMania DVD releases are a bad example because not only do you get cool exclusives, but you also get the entire Hall of Fame induction ceremony with the WrestleMania DVD’s. Definitely worth the purchase in my opinion.

Big Show vs. Sheamus was better
This cover has to be the 2nd best cover they ever produced behind the Attitude Era cover!

Why don’t they wait until March to release the Blu-Ray & DVD? That way, they can include matches from the whole year.
The best PPV matches of 2011 only contained matches up to October because it was released too early.
I never buy ppv dvd’s so this is a must buy for me!

Dont understand why WWE still promotes Cena vs Rock as “Once in a Lifetime”.
We know WWE is planning to repeat this Match.

It states Bryan vs Punk from MitB, so I doubt they will put the one from OTL.
Also it’s only ppv matches, no RAW or SD. We will probably see those on the best of RAW/SD 2012 release in Jan.

Yea, WWE should have cut Rock/Cena from the WM28 DVD and Rock vs Cena DVDs just because Tony Kegger is buying Best PPV matches 2012 DVD for the match.
