We can now confirm that WWE Bragging Rights 2010 is scheduled for release on Blu-ray in the United States & Canada. It is planned to be a 2 Disc set, like the European edition.
As we revealed last Tuesday, WWE The Big Show: A Giant’s World is indeed going ahead. It will be a 3-Disc set (with documentary) and be released on February 22nd 2011.
Here’s the official synopsis for the release:
Big Show lays claim to the title of “World’s Largest Athlete” and anyone that doubts it may be on the receiving end of his devastating knockout punch. The 7-foot giant has been a staple of the Sports Entertainment scene since his WCW debut in the 90s, and has battled some of the all-time greats, including Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Sting, Undertaker, Triple H, John Cena, and more.
He’s also cast his enormous shadow in the worlds of television and movies with roles on Royal Pains, Saturday Night Live, The Waterboy, MacGruber, and Knucklehead.
Now for the first time ever, Big Show’s mammoth career will be highlighted in a DVD set. This 3-disc release will include a never-before-seen documentary on the life and times of Big Show featuring new candid interviews where Show discusses how a giant lives in an average-sized world, his sports entertainment career, and more.
All we know is it is currently scheduled as a 2 Disc release, and yes it will be a Best Buy exclusive. Likely the 2nd disc is Raw/SD. May still end up as a one disc but that’s what we’re seeing right now. Thanks for stopping by 🙂
Is the Bragging Rights Blu-ray going to be another Best Buy exclusive in the states? Does a two-disc set imply a bonus disc that features both Raw and Smackdown prior?
Thanks for the scoop it is about time he got a dvd. I hope Booker T and some other WCW guys get the dvd treatment also. Yes I know there can be politics involved but I still would like to see it.
