Recently we reported on 4 new WWE Blu-ray double packs listed on Walmart’s site. The prices have now been dropped from $12.74 to just $9.96! The included titles are:
nWo: The Revolution & WCW War Games
WrestleMania 28 & WrestleMania 29
ECW Unreleased Volumes 1 & 2
The Attitude Era & Stone Cold: The Bottom Line
For example, the nWo and War Games pack is listed here on Walmart.com. Thanks to WDN reader Kyle Willard for spotting the change in price. Kyle sent along the following:
I looked on Walmart’s website, and they have the Blu-ray 2 packs you were talking about available for pre-order for only $9.96 each. That’s such an amazing bargain considering most of those sets are still $25 by themselves. Also it says the release date for them is March 23rd. I heard some concern from people whom remembered the DVD 3 packs Walmart had years ago in which it only included the first disc of each DVD, but the dimensions for the Blu-ray set are 0.94 x 4.0 x 7.37, the 0.94 being the thickness or height of the set, which is generally .5 of an inch, which seems to indicate that each set will indeed include both Blu-rays packaged together.
Survivor Series 2013 made it only to DVD format in the US when released recently.
However, an exclusive Blu-ray edition is on the way next month to the United Kingdom and the rest of Europe. It will be released by WWEDVD.co.uk on February 17th.
There will be 1 hour and 17 minutes of bonus footage included on the Blu-ray. That’s 6 special features taken from RAW and SmackDown episodes prior to the PPV event. Shown below are the extras with screenshots and their individual runtimes.

221363561360 – WWE and WCW VHS DVD and BLU RAY LOT…
:sigh: picked up War Games and ECW Unreleased Vol 2 back in November with the buy one get one free deal – haven’t even watched them yet and probably won’t get to watch them until March so I could have waited for this deal. (I’m so far behind in my wrestling DVD/Blu-Ray watching, its pretty bad!) I would have saved $5.00, got the NWO (which I don’t have) for free and either sell or give the ECW Unreleased Vol1 to a friend. Oh well, what can ya do – still I’ll pickup the War Games/NWO one come late March – I’ll just sell the War Games one to a friend.
Edit: I would have saved $12.00 (since I had to pay shipping at wwe shop where I can get free ship to store at Walmart) – which I could then use towards purchasing another wrestling DVD/Blu-ray or a months worth of WWE Network! :sigh:
Damn you Wal-Mart! I was thinking of passing on the blu-ray packs because why would I need them if I get the WWE Network, but this deal might be too good to ignore especially if the Network won’t have blu-ray exclusives.
I am going to Wal-Mart after work and see if they have the War Games/NWO, I already have War Games but I want NWO but I am not holding my breath that Walmart will have it
Keep in mind the packs aren’t released yet, according to their site.
Ohhh, thank you hmmm, I guess I could wait unless Amazon’s price goes down on NWO
Picked up Best of Raw/SD ’13 & TLC ’13 during the Beat the Clock sale on wweshop, couldnt pass it up great deal. $20 & some change.
I’m importing the Best of RAW & SD 2013 Blu-ray from Amazon UK. Its great to have a multi-region Blu-ray player situations like this.
I totally agree. I just bought a multi-region player and the best ppv matches 2013 and the picture quality is excellent. If your on the fence about buying one, I would highly recommend it.
that’s exactly what I recently just did. I got a region blu ray/dvd player so I could get the best ppvs of 2013 and best of raw and smackdown 2013 on blu ray and now maybe tagged classics !
region free **
You guys are crazy. Why empty your bank accounts and play WWE’s game of what country gets what releases? That’s exactly the reason why they release certain sets to certain countries. They know you’ll turn around and spend more on players, shipping and on sets just to have them.
Sad to say but had The Best of Raw/Smackdown 2013 been on blu ray, I would have picked it up day one. Now I’ll wait a few months and pick up the DVD cheaper.
wait a few months then fye if u got one has it bit cheeper used
