Brock Lesnar DVD Incoming?, Randy Orton Talks Almost Dying in New DVD

June 30, 2011 by Daniel Bee

By now you may have heard the reports circulating online concerning Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman possibly being in talks with WWE for a non-televised return to the company, for some sort of business deal. Nothing is at all confirmed, but one could speculate it may be related to a DVD release on Lesnar in the near future.

We know for sure WWE earlier this year had a Brock Lesnar DVD listed on their Home Video schedule as a possibility for November 2011. They also included this idea on a recent survey sent out to fans for feedback on future WWE DVD titles. Whilst it sounds far-fetched given Brock’s ties to UFC, WWE have definitely been considering producing this project for some time.

Randy Orton was recently on 98 KUPD radio (yes, the interview in which he made disparaging comments about Kelly Kelly and trashed The Rock), where amongst other topics he talked about his upcoming “Evolution of a Predator” DVD for September.

Orton referred to the documentary on the DVD as very hard hitting in regards to his personal life, openly discussing on there the bad choices he’s made in the past. For example Orton said he reveals on the DVD a drug related incident when he was 26 (only 5 years ago), where he actually stopped breathing and almost died. He says he put his wife through a scary time with it all, and that she ultimately saved his life.

In the documentary his wife can be seen crying when recalling the moment. Orton feels his family members will be very emotional when watching parts of it, and by doing the DVD it was a good way to get tough experiences off his chest. You can listen to the full radio piece at:

Vince gave Lesnar the moon, and what Lesnar did?He turned his back on Vince and WWE fans!So screw Brock Lesnar! We want Goldberg and Bob Backlund dvd sets!Goldberg deserves one!Backlund has the 3rd longest reign as WWE champion,Sammartino WILL NEVER get his dvd because he despises Vince!

  3. Brad Attitude says:

i’d rather see a brock lesnar dvd over a goldberg dvd. lesnar had a good work ethic (unlike goldberg) and was constantly having great matches on smackdown and raw apart from getting that massive push and all the big wins and titles he achieved. brock showed he could hang with the top dogs, work a good match & be the biggest draw for the WWE.

If Ultimate Warrior was a ‘flash in the pan’ the Brock Lesnar certainly was. He was pushed so hard for 2 years it was irritating. Then suddenly he was gone and unmentionable. Goldberg was around for only a few years but his impact was incredible. His time should definitely be documented on DVD. Bruno Sammartino was the man for years on end and if anyone should have a DVD its him. I just get the feeling he doesnt want one.

But I honestly cant understand why there has been no big release on Andre the Giant. When you think of the biggest names in wrestling I can’t work out why he’s been overlooked. He wrestled all over the place, was respected by his peers and would make seriously good use of the video libraries. How they can even think of turning out all the dodgy releases they’ve been doing before Andre is beyond me.

I think it will be called ‘the Rise and fall of Brock Lesnar screwed the Self destruction of the World’s Greatest Brock Lesnar Legacy: The Life & Times Anthology Ultimate Definitive Collection Matches’ and it will be a 1 disc deluxe set featuring matches against Big Show, Hulk Hogan, Kurt Angle, The Rock and The Undertaker. Here comes the pain!!!! Wooooo! Oh Yeah! Simply ravishing! I would be surprised if they didnt follow that format.

  16. SRB says:

I’d love to see Lesnars matches from TNA, WCW, SMW and ECW. How about his feud with Randy Orton? That was great or his program with HBK? All classic stuff. Cant wait for the match he had with Bob Backlund.

    Brock Lesnar Rocks!

Hopefully if they do it will be a bunch on new matches(matches not on his old dvd) with possibly some new documentary. =D

  18. LP1 says:

If there is a new Brock Lesnar DVD coming, let’s hope they don’t include any of the matches that were on his 2003 DVD because those matches have been released already.

lol Come on. You know someone on here is going to say that.
