Video: My Personal WWE DVD and Blu-ray Collection – Rarities!

August 15, 2011 by Daniel Bee

Hi all. The video above shows my WWE DVD collection to date, which I first started in 2003. The first wrestling DVD I ever got was WrestleMania X8 in 2002 but I didn’t have the desire to collect until a year later. It’s mainly focused on rare and ‘exclusive’ stuff because that’s what I love collecting most, though every collection needs great footage first and foremost.

I should probably start thinking about getting some shelves to store them better, and since I’ve ran out of space completely now. I did intend to talk through all of the DVDs in this video and I feel some of the rare ones deserve a bit of explanation, but I recorded this just before leaving for the airport one morning so my mind was on other things! Next time though.

Hope you enjoyed seeing what I have, and thanks again for visiting WWEDVDNews. 🙂

Question, Why is your Wrestlemania 17 poster upside down
and where do you sleep Daniel? or is that your closet?
I wish I could have a space like that for my own DVD’s.

When it comes to my collection, I just like to get for Superstars and stip DVD’s of the guys that I like or what not and what I think feels that is best what I like about WWE. I use to have a sweet VHS collection when I was in High School but my WWE DVD Collection hasn’t been at it’s best but well I havn’t collected to seriously since 2005 or 2006 but really getting back into that. I know what I get seriously into it i’m right on with it.

did you get the bootleg raw and smackdown seasons of the net, if so wot site plz ???

  10. Jeffrey says:

How do you get the DVDs before the release date?

  11. Michael pemberton says:

Do you buy two of every dvd????

  12. Daniel Bee says:

I don’t have stacked of unopened DVDs. Maybe the video gives that impression but look closer – there’s nearly always an opened copy for every unopened except stuff I’d never want to watch anyway like a bonus Live and Unscripted DVD. The sealed WWF DVDs for example I have them all already to watch, kept on the shelf there. The “fan edition” boxes are open too, most of my collection is.

  13. Nick Arndt says:

Damn you even got DVDs from Blockbuster’s going out of business sale!

  14. Nick Arndt says:

I do or did have some of this stuff though

  15. Nick Arndt says:

When you have stacks & stacks of unopened DVDs you know nothing about isn’t that the defination of hoarding?

  16. Nick Arndt says:

I just watch this & think WTF is that?

  17. Nick Arndt says:

Where did this mute get all this stuff & so much of it has never been opened!

What a great collection!! And I thought my wrestling DVD collection was huge. I have 552 DVDs… Not only WWE, but also ROH and TNA and much more. Including some original ECW DVDs. I don’t buy every WWE DVD. I look at the matches, and see how many I have on DVD already. If I have the majority of the matches on DVD already, I usually skip it. WWE should do more sets like Hulk Hogan Unreleased Collectors Series. That was full of rare matches, I loved it. More DVDs like that, please!

  20. Paul says:

Very, Very nice Collection. You have a lot of rare discs and sets. Lots brand new condition as well. Sweet great work with the site and the collection. Keep it up.

a few at a local one in recent months which i’m happy about.

  23. Isrs4life says:

    4 anthologies, 121 DVS, 12 blu rays, 15 VHS.

  28. Daniel Bee says:

    Thanks for all your comments.

Yes, I definitely watch a lot of this like you do. I like to be able to pull out any PPV for example, and love a good WWE doc. The vast majority isn’t unopened. The stuff sealed like “McMahon” Anthology, WWF DVDs etc I have another of to watch as you may have seen in the video. Or in cases like Live and Unscripted there isn’t much point of watching it. I only have things sealed if they are out of print etc.

The RAW/Smackdown season sets are not real but custom made and stuff like that is on ioffer. I don’t like having any sort of bootleg but I made an exception to own all that footage. The Kurt Angle/JBL/Booker etc DVDs are official though, only in Italy. I have these for the ‘exclusive’ factor because all they are is some PPV matches of theirs. Nice booklet on the superstar in each set though.

About talking, I planned to give a commentary for them all but like I wrote below the video I was just quickly doing a video before going to the airport and it was early morning.

  29. ChadWWE says:

Can’t argue it’s a big collection, but I never got the point of multiple copies of the same thing or buying it and never opening it. And again I am jealous of UK people. You get a lot better DVD options there than in US.

  30. Nate says:

WOW Nice Collection M8 Thats Bigger Than Mine…

  31. Anonymous says:

Awesome collection!!! What are those DVDs at the end when there’s 1 minute to go? Eg Kurt angle, king bookaa, big show, triple h ect ect???

  32. Anonymous says:

Are you mute or something? Some commentary audio would’ve been nice

  33. Anonymous says:
