We can confirm that a WWE DVD on The Undertaker is coming!
The company has scheduled the Home Video to release before the end of 2015.
Its name, theme and format are yet to be revealed. However, this one will not feature a career documentary, as of now. The latest indications we’ve seen are that WWE will close out the year with documentary sets on Sting and Owen Hart, should all go as currently planned.
Stay tuned – we should have more details soon.
Volume 2 of the “Monday Night War” DVD and Blu-ray series is now up on Amazon!
As you know, Volume 1 is coming in July. Volume 2 is scheduled for September.
The planned title is “The Monday Night War Vol. 2: Know Your Role”, as we revealed on the site last month. Find it listed here on Amazon.com or by clicking the buttons below.
For those asking, the upcoming Elimination Chamber 2015 event is not on the Home Video schedule right now, as you can see on our up-to-date WWE DVD Release Dates page.
We consider it to be a WWE Network exclusive unless a DVD gets scheduled last minute.
The Elimination Chamber returns for the WWE Network special on May 31st.
Add some more Jim Cornette to your collection of Kayfabe Commentaries DVDs this coming Tuesday with the release of “Timeline: The History of WCW – 1989”.
The WCW Timeline series will be back again in August as special guest Eric Bischoff takes you through 1994. As always, check out KayfabeCommentaries.com for the latest.

Those of you waiting for an Undertaker documentary where he sits down and talks about his career, may not have to wait too long because WWE sent out a press release today saying Undertaker will be a guest soon on Austin’s podcast interview on the Network. They also mention Hogan and Sting will be future guests also.
I see an Undertaker documentary happening, but not until The Phenom’s days in the ring are over. That said, I see this being like the other Taker sets which is a match compilation set. Being a Taker fan, I’ll end up getting this. But I hope it’s worth the price. I’d like to see unreleased matches. God knows there’s so many, it’d take multiple sets to release even a quarter of them.
I won’t be buying anymore Undertaker match compilations unless it contains a 2 hour docco where Taker himself talks about his career.
Wish Monday Night War Volume 2 had a better title. I am hoping for a pure WCW cover so that if you put the two covers together it makes one kickass picture.
That’s a great idea & it would be really cool but you know wwe can’t pass up a chance to gloat, even after 14 yrs they still can’t let it go….just look at what they did to Sting at Wrestlemania if you need more proof.
I predict, nWo vill be blasting out on the cover, maybe with Bicshof’s or Goldberg’s eyes for vol. 2.
Would be in the spirit of Vince: vol. 1: wwf themed…cos, they were no. 1 in that war in the end.
In a perfect world WCW should’ve been on the cover of Vol. 1 since it was called “Shots Fired”. WCW started the war and they fired the first shots with the surprise appearance of Luger on Nitro. Now Vol. 2 should have WWE on the cover since it’s the end of the war and WWE won. Of course we already saw what they did with Vol. 1. And Vol. 2 is called “Know Your Role”, so good luck thinking anything WCW related will be on the cover.
Maybe a picture of Vince holding up Ted Turner’s decapitated head. Wouldn’t put it passed them.
We need a Life and Career Documentary with Mark sitting down and talking about his career ITS LONG OVERDUE
This Undertaker set needs unreleased TV taping dark matches.
I hope it’s a Streak box set! I already have 15-0 and 20-0, but those are missing the Punk and Brock matches!
This is My Yard – Collectors Edition! Includes the complete, original 2001 documentary, plus his match with Bray Wyatt from ‘Mania 31 (missing out everything else inbetween, lol!). I’m callin’ it first.
Really hoping for unreleased matches from Taker.
I hate to think that the Elimination Chamber special won’t see the dvd/blu ray light of day. I hope it gets released at some point, as I have every EC match to date.
So sad to see that the elimination chamber ppv is not on dvd or blu-ray, as i’m a hardcore wwe ppv dvd collector.
Well, you don’t have to worry then. Because it’s not a ppv. 😉
Honestly, I would hold off on releasing the Elimination Chamber special on dvd/br for at least a year. If WWE is serious about making the Network must-see television then they need to have more shows like that where the only place to see them are on the Network, not ppv, home video or anywhere else.
I agree also guys, this is a release that they should, by all means, hold off on until at least later next year….if Taker is put in the Hall of Fame in 2016 (which almost seems given) then fans are gonna want a complete dvd that can include a doc & his induction into the HOF.
I totally agree about holding out for a proper Undertaker doc, but I’d rather have that when he finally closes the book ok his career. Until then match compilations are fine by me, as long as we don’t get so many repeats on that doc set.
Another Undertaker release WITHOUT a career spanning documentary, is completely pointless.
The DOC is what fans want from the next Undertaker release, with a full sit down interview with the main himself, Mark Calloway.
We don’t need a kayfabe documentary of the character and we don’t need yet another match compilation. We need a full on Undertaker doc with brand new interviews with notable names from his past:
Jerry Lawler, Dutch Mantel, Kevin Von Erich, Mick Foley, Jim Ross, Teddy Long, Paul Heyman, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Vince McMahon, Kevin Nash, Steve Austin, Triple H, Kane, JBL, Edge, Big Show, John Cena, Randy Orton, Mark Henry, Michele McCool, Pat Patterson, and Brock Lesnar.
No one is forcing you to buy it. Stop being such a whiny little dips**t.
I still light a candle in hope for, that wwe change the title for vol. 2 of Monday Night Wars.. there’s not much, actually none, originality in that Rock-catchphrase.. 🙁
Shots fired from vol. 1 at least sounds fresh and new..
I only am missing the Brothers of Destruction release, as I don’t care too much for that team work the Dead man had with Kane, but I definitely gonna get this one, unless it’s gonna be a 90 minutes red cover Superstar release. :-/
Skipping the Undertaker DVD until we get a proper documentary featuring Undertaker commenting.
and?
