Breaking: WWE Edge “You Think You Know Me” DVD On The Way

January 8, 2012 by Daniel Bee

Amazon have put up listings for the new WWE Home Video release on Edge over here.

The page reveals the planned title of WWE You Think You Know Me: The Story of Edge.

It also refers to the scheduled release date of April 10th, 2012 to the USA, and as expected, this one will be produced on both DVD and Blu-ray formats worldwide.

A new Edge release was first talked about in WWE back in February/March of last year, as they were considering releasing one at the end of the year. We found it listed in the “TBD” section of their schedule draft at that time.

They did not go ahead with it then but back in September 2011, following Edge’s retirement, the news broke of the DVD being in the works at WWE. In the same month Jim Ross tweeted about being interviewed for the feature, whilst Trish Stratus and Rhino were two other stars rumored to be contributing, in addition to members of the current roster.

The off-air segment from the “Edge Appreciation” Smackdown episode in which various WWE Superstars said their goodbyes to Edge in the ring, is slated to be included as an exclusive.

We should have official details on the new Edge release next week, so stay tuned.

the title doesnt click with me, just because its the same words used for his previous theme song, kinda like batista’s theme song was title for his dvd set.

i would have called it the Edge Dynasty or The Rated R Superstar: The Life and Career of Adam “Edge” Copeland.

I have some of Edge’s Greatest matches on Blu-Ray already, though im not a big fan of his. Though i’ve heard and seen him in the WM6 crowd and if that match is added 2the Blu-Ray set, then i’ll surely get it!

  17. Anonymous says:

Rhino is definitely involved. He confirmed that this past week on Colt Cabana’s Art of Wrestling podcast.

  18. SRB says:

Very good title. I agree. No reason this DVD cant do a great job spanning his entire career, including his Brood work, IC title bouts, Championship title bouts and his later bouts leading to retirement. Sounds like there will indeed be a documentary since they refer to it as the story of Edge

  19. Anonymous says:

Oh thank God, a good title.

  20. jasongoldsmith says:

this should be a great set–edge will be sorely missed by the wrestling business.
