what is up with the dvd extras these days?
why isnt extreme rules being released on blu ray
Because Vince McMahon doesn’t want to.
hopefully Extreme Rules 2012 will be available to buy in the UK
Will Extreme Rules be region free should I buy it and ship from UK?
The US release will be region 1, the Australian one region 4. So unless Silver Vision produces it, European fans will not have it.
I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for SilverVision to release this…
or any other new WWE release in the future. The rumors from last week appear more and more to be true. Even PWInsider has mentioned it.
Do you know if the Pre-Show match will be included?
Yes it is on there
Not according to the above, unless you already have the DVD?
Would that match be considered an “extra”? I thought it was technically part of the show.
WM28 price has gone up now. DVD $19.96, Blu-ray $24.96

Lame PPV DVD “extra” as always. It’s amazing how little effort they put into them now, considering how great PPV DVD extras used to be.
Finishers DVD sounds like it’s chock full of TV tag matches, didn’t think it could get worse…
Is it weird that I’m salivating at the fact that it has a MA15+ Rating? I haven’t seen a MA15+ WWE DVD in ages…
No Miz Santino I’m not buying it
Contacted Amazon about the recent price drop and I got a $8 promotional credit.
Same here…i just emailed them and provided $8 promotional credit. Excellent service from Amazon.
Yeah? Well, I emailed them about getting a credit and they said no. Excellent customer service indeed.
No Santino vs Miz preshow match included with Extreme Rules? Wow. It’s bad enough that they don’t air the preshow live on the ppv channel itself(they still show the taped Free For All), but now they’re not even including it as an extra. Fail!
They don’t air the match on the Free For All because they have a contract with YouTube to provide exclusive material, not because they don’t want to. But, I’m sure it cost more money to air it on their considering the satellite fees
I would understand the YouTube exclusivity thing as a reason for not airing the preshow on the ppv channel, but that excuse holds no water because WWE also airs the preshow on Facebook and WWE.com itself. So its not because of an exclusive YouTube agreement. Also WWE is already paying for the tv time to air the free for all on the ppv channel, even though it’s taped.
Regardless, there’s still no excuse for not including the preshow match on the DVD.
I agree about it not being on DVD, but they have it’s an exclusive online show. Even when it’s on Facebook, it links to YouTube. And there is a major difference in cost between a taped show in a studio with about 10 minutes of Scott Stanford talking and the live feed from an arena. Those taped shows are done in advance, where the satellite cost of the provider isn’t cheap.
That doesn’t make sense because if that were the case then why is the Tag Team match that happened on the WrestleMania pre-show on YouTube on the WrestleMania Blu-ray?
I know. They’re just to damn lazy.
Price drops are annoying. No incentive to pre-order anymore.
