Late in 2015 we broke the news that WWE is bringing back the “Attitude Era” series!
We can confirm that the third DVD/Blu-ray of the series is still on track for this summer. This time around the company looks to be adding a new theme to it, whereby all of the content selected will be never-before-seen on Home Video, a similar approach to their “ECW Unreleased” DVDs.
The current working title is “Attitude Era Vol. 3 – Unreleased”.

With the NXT DVD now officially in stores everywhere, the next WWE Home Video on the way to fans in the UK and Europe is Royal Rumble 2016 this coming Monday.
(…or Fastlane 2016 later this month if you’re in the United States).
Ahead of the UK release, here’s a clip of The New Day vs. The Usos from the Rumble:

So effin excited for pt3 of the attitude era, I know it’s a long shot what if they finally add a Benoit match or two since he was apart of the mitb & war games anthology
ehhhhhh unless its a big man match like a ladder match or rumble then that is slim
Unreleased content, I’m most certainly. Say what you want about WWE and their current product. But aside from the less than 2hr docs, their released sets as of late have been great.
I don’t remember the date of this, but I believe it was sometime in 1999 as Taker had his Ministry beard. I think it was an off air segment where Austin, Mankind and Taker did a beer toast in the ring. I hope to God that makes the cut. If WWE were to take fan requests, I’d request that.
I don’t think wwe takes fan requests, I’ve tried several times, they haven’t listened to me. Although that’s nothing new, nobody else listens to me.
Well for Austin’s Bottom Line set, he took fan requests from his Twitter. But that’s Austin, not WWE so you’re right. How Austin got those requests onto a set released by a company who rarely, if ever listens to their fans is beyond me, but glad he was able to do so. I requested some Taker content, like a story or something for the documentary portion and a match. In the doc, he spoke about how he almost made Taker break character and laugh during the Smackdown segment where Austin kept repeating Vince’s words to Team WWF. In the match selection, Austin vs Taker from Summerslam 98 is there. So I got my request granted.
Great the Ramon vs Martel match from RAW in 1993 is on it!!!
No Razor vs Shane (Dean) Douglas from IYH 4 from October ’95?
I’m actually glad. Shane Douglas isn’t a bad wrestler. But Dean Douglas sucked, wasn’t the best, probably was one of the worst times of his career and I don’t even think he looks back on it fondly and for good reason.
Its on the best of in your house bluray/dvd
The Diamond Studd vs. Tommy Rich was a 2 minute squash for the Studd, as I think a drinking contest would have been more interesting.
I would’ve preferred to have seen a Razor Ramon vs. Goldust match over the Jeff Jarrett match from the Royal Rumble.
You know that there will be more stuff, which is why it’s pointless to do the weekly reveal stuff.
I know there will be more stuff but there’s no need for more squash matches. two wwf squashes and now the clash of the champions match. scott hall had a career that didn’t involve beating up jobbers all the time.
The problem with the Attitude DVDs is they would fill them up with filler matches.
The thing is the Attitude Era wasn’t really well known for its 5* stars matches, but rather crash tv, brawling with 5 minute main events with run ins. The gimmicks and sexual content was probably the only thing that saved WWF at the time, but even then majority of them were just cheesy and over the top as well.
Was watching few 1998 and 1999 ppvs and man, majority were brutal with terrible undercards…the main event was usually the best match but thats not saying much since they all involved the same formula which was just brawling all the over the arena and dusty Russo finishes.
2000 was when they really starts to focus more on in ring, especially with guys like Benoit, Guerrero, Malenko, Saturn, Jericho and Angle were there and working with main eventers.
its like wcw they had a good undercard but main events were just ehhh with no finshes and nwo run ins wwf good main events but the undercard was just bad! i mean val venis and godfather as ic champ shivvers
Sorry to disagreed with you bro, back in 98 and 99 there, hundreds of good matches like Austin vs taker 99 on raw, The rock vs foley, Jericho vs Hhh, Kane vs taker inferno match, and even the promos were the best. You can ask everyone and the best years of the attitude era were 98/99
i am hope vol 3 is better cause vol 1 was really good and vol 2 was such a let down even with the hhh jericho last man standing match so praying this is good.
as far as hall dvd not to bad lets see wat bluray extras are ?
That’s great news! Makes it all the more worthwhile buying that Attitude set. I hope this means there’s no PPV stuff on it though. Sometimes they still refer to earlier PPV matches as ‘Unreleased’ because they haven’t been released on DVD in the US, but we got the Tagged Classics in the UK so they’re repeats for us.
Great news about unreleased Attitude era footage being released. I wish WWE would release more titles like Bret Hart: The Dungeon Collection and Hulk Hogan Unreleased Collector’s Series. Sets that focus on unreleased footage.
i liked those dvds and i do wish they would do more sets like that like a piper or jake or taker rude perfect BOSS MAN!!!! something!!!
I agree. Those are subjects that I would like to see. Boss man, jake Roberts, roddy piper. I’d also like to see dvd’s/blurays on Arn Anderson, demolition, rick rude, rockers, history/best of tag team titles-both wwe and nwa/wcw. How about a wcw pay per view box set? You got all the wwe ppv’s, why not a few wcw ppv’s? or a complete kotr box set/anthology? I know, here I go again, putting in requests that wwe isn’t going to listen to.
Attitude Era Vol. 3 better have the WMX Ladder match… OR I AM NOT BUYING IT
Lol. 😆
Lmaoo!!
Oh shut the hell up!
see kids this is the results of brain damage or to many shots to the head from.. a table… nooo a chair..nooo i know a FREEKEN LADDER!!!! lol xD
TROLLing at its worst.
They only have that match on every video set they put out.
Trolling at its worst.
to the 18 % / 136 voters: it can -never- be enough Attitude! 😉
love the Unreleased concept.. so..let us finally have the complete destruction of the DX bus, courtesey of the 3:16. 🙂
I agree, you can never have enough attitude… and you can find it (unreleased and all) on the wwe network!
sure you can…and you have to pay for it in all eternity to keep watching it!
Exactly! I love my WWE Network subscription, but I have never considered selling my wrestling DVDs since I got the network. There are lots of matches released on DVD that aren’t available on the network.
Decent choices, I wonder if they will add the Summerslam ladder match as a Blu-Ray exclusive?
