As you may have followed, the recent WWE SummerSlam 2010 Blu Ray release in North America was a 1 Disc edition containing the PPV event and the episode of Raw which came before it.
Before the release various sources were stating this to be a 2 Disc set, so both the Raw and Smackdown shows prior to SummerSlam were expected, but this didn’t happen for reasons unknown. In the UK however it will indeed be a 2 Disc set with both shows included, released toward the end of October.
It seems the trend may be continuing as it was announced this week Europe will be receiving a 2 Disc WWE Hell in a Cell 2010 Blu Ray set, including the Raw & Smackdown shows leading into the PPV, which has been the norm since Royal Rumble 2010.
Whether or not North America will receive the same, or if Blu Ray PPV releases will stay as 1 Disc editions in this region, is yet to be seen. We’ll keep you posted on this in the run up to the next release.

IF they only include one of the shows as a bonus on the US release, hopefully they choose to use the Live Smackdown on SyFy debut instead of Raw.
