New “Iconic Matches” WWE DVDs on John Cena and Roman Reigns have been added to the 2016 release schedule in the UK, available to pre-order now for October 10th on Amazon:
– John Cena – Iconic Matches
– Roman Reigns – Iconic Matches
WDN readers have been asking us what exactly these are. We can confirm that they will be the same DVDs found in the Mattel “Ultimate Fan Pack” figure bundles, now seeing a UK release, so expect to see similar cover artwork (now in retail DVD packaging) and the same matches featured.
The United States aren’t missing out this time – both of these DVDs, and an additional one on the “Macho Man” Randy Savage, were all put out by WWE in the figure packs earlier this year and are readily available to purchase in stores and online at these Amazon links:
– Ultimate Fan Pack: John Cena (Figure, DVD, Dog tags)
– Ultimate Fan Pack: Roman Reigns (Figure, DVD, Glove)
– Ultimate Fan Pack: Macho Man (Figure, DVD, Sunglasses)

Good news – the new “Brock Lesnar – Eat. Sleep. Conquer. Repeat.” DVD is back up to buy here on Amazon.com after, for reasons unknown, being made “unavailable” the past 2 weeks.
As noted, WWE cancelling the title would have been unlikely after its various announcements.
The Blu-ray edition and the big Collector’s box set should follow soon.
A “First Look” at “The History of the Hardcore Championship: 24/7” will be available on the WWE Network this Wednesday, ahead of the DVD/Blu-ray hitting stores the following week.
Expect to see snippets of the host segments with Mick Foley, RVD and Raven, along with a look at some of the matches to be included in the compilation. As always, you can see what shows are coming up using our WWE Network Schedule which automatically filters new-to-air content.
One week after Hardcore, “Guest Booker: The Outsiders Stay Inside” will be released by Kayfabe Commentaries, fantasy booking the duo staying in WWE and not jumping ship to WCW.
Kevin Nash is interviewed for this one – check out the first clip of the DVD below:

Let’s go, let’s go
I ordered the Extreme Rules 2016 DVD for $5. Great PPV from earlier this year. Can’t wait for SummerSlam to be out in October!
Really great sale. Over my birthday/vacation weekend, I picked up WM32 and Razor on Blu Ray for $25 each and MITB and Battleground 2016 for $10. I almost NEVER pay full price for a release (always end up getting on Amazon or local used stores). But it was vacation, so I bit. When I saw the sale, I bought them from WWE and saved $20 by returning the ones I already got.
Wow, I was worried with where that story was heading. Congrats on the birthday buys at an indirect discount!
Did I just read the words “Roman Reigns” and “Iconic” in the same sentence? Lol.
No matter how much the IWC despises Reigns for some odd reason, he hasn’t had a bad match. In fact I think Reigns has had more “iconic” matches than the IWC’s darling Dean Ambrose at this point with the same opponents.
But surely the goal isn’t to just “not have a bad match” – it should be to have consistently “good” matches? Nobody on that world stage should be having “bad” matches. If you think Roman Reigns’ matches are consistently good or even excellent then you must have set a lower bar than many other people in terms of what you consider to be a good match. Every time I see him it’s very by-the-numbers, average / meh. Tussle –> Superman Punch –> “Oooooo-ahhh!” –> Spear –> Pin, but if that’s your thing, okay.
And I agree about Ambrose; love his character – but you’re right. His match with Ziggler was where I finally said to myself, this guy isn’t as good in the ring as I thought, he really is more of a brawler and I’ve never thought he had a 5 star match. The likes of Rollins, Zayn, Balor, Styles and Cesaro are a different story. But yeah – totally take your point on Ambrose.
Surely the Triple H vs. Reigns match at WM32 would qualify as a “bad match”.
Anybody know the listing for the Iconic Cena DVD please? The link above only includes the Reigns matches. Thanks.

Cool, thanks Daniel. And just going to head over to Dictionary.com to check on the word ‘iconic’.
:o)
I was gonna get the battle ground 2016 for $5, but with shipping it ends up being over what you would pay at Walmart
“Get the most out of it by ordering a few DVDs/Blu-rays at once to take advantage of flat-rate $6.99/$9.99 shipping.”
It’s pretty good advice for sales like this, but not if you are ordering just the one of course
