If you’re in the UK or Europe look out for the Madison Square Garden DVD and Blu-ray on September 9th at the new home for WWE DVDs and Blu-ray – WWEDVD.co.uk!

Benoit tripleh and shawn shouldve been on there
The match listing here is fine as i think there will be a Volume 2 for Best of MSG down the line and for those who want to gripe about rereleased matches yeah there’s going to be some of those on every set WWE puts out.But those are also the matches that people remember and maybe the person buying the DVD has children who are wrestling fans that haven’t had the chance to see these matches yet.
Really would’ve loved to have seen some old school tag team matches on there like Hart Foundation, British Bulldogs, Killer Bees, etc …
Because nobody’s seen the matches from 1985 on. See, everyone lived close enough to MSG to travel to those events before 85 so no one wants to see those matches again. National TV, Pay Per View, no one watches those so we gotta show all those matches again
A massive disappointment. This could have been an exceptional set with some rarely seen house show matches like the ones that used to be on the MSG channel years ago. But as always they plunder the same matches seen multiple times on many DVD sets. I can’t fathom who in their right mind would pay for yet another copy of HBK-Razor, Hart-Hennig etc I had high hopes for this, but once again have been let down.
Backlund vs. Patera was voted MOTY in the Observer, so that and boot camp, plus Del Rio vs. Punk in HD, are enough for me.
Why the hell is Show vs. Cena @ WMXX on there… :-\
This is what i was wishing they would do, but i think this is a very bad pick of mactches most anyway. Should of been HOUSESHOW matches only not ppv and matches already realesed on dvd.i will pass
I’m really looking forward to this DVD, especially all of the old matches that I never seen before.
The high light of the dvd will be backland vs race, wwf vs nwa champions.I wish they would do the sets by decades. There are so many great matches that could have been put on here instead of the same old matches.I am still hopeing for a ultimate andra the giant collection
This listing isn’t too bad, I’ll get it. At least there are some unreleased matches on here.
Just like every WWE DVD this is loaded with stuff they’ve put on DVD multiple times before.
Koloff vs. Morales – History of the WWE Championship
Sheik vs. Hogan – History of the WWE Championship, Superstars of the 80s, EVERY Hogan DVD
Hogan & T vs. Piper and Orndorff – Hulk Anthology, WrestleMania
HTM vs. Warrior – SummerSlam 88, Warrior DVD
Hart vs. Perfect – SummerSlam 91, Bret Hart DVD, Perfect DVD
Michaels vs. Ramon ladder match – this has been released every year since WWE started releasing DVDs. I have at least 6 copies of this match.
96 Survivor Series match – Survivor Series 96, The Rock: Dwayne Johnson DVD
I’m pretty sure a number of other matches on the set were released before.
This is great and all, but they should have had at least one match from Summerslam 98 considering the big buildup to that event. Maybe Mankind ov The Outlaws, HHH vs Rock or the main event which was Taker vs Austin. I’d vote for Taker vs Austin since that was promoted by JR as being “The biggest main event in our business.”
Also would’ve liked to have seen Bret vs Owen from WM10 too.
Those missing matches aside, it’s still a great listing.
I Cannot wait to get my hands on a blu ray copy of this i have been waitign for years for this release finally i guess the question is blu ray or dvd. I just wanted to let you all know i came across another rare gem on ebay take a look
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/WWE-WWF-RAW-EDDIE-GUERRERO-TRIBUTE-SHOW-DVD-OOP-VERY-RARE-WRESTLING-LUTTE-CATCH-/221251463203?pt=US_DVD_HD_DVD_Blu_ray&hash=item33839d6823#ht_1390wt_919
Isn’t the Diesel vs Bob Buckland match the one that only goes on for like 10 seconds? Diesel powerbombs him then its over?
Dont think ill be getting this one
Pass
1 Warrior match?… Still no appreciation for the Ultimate Legend!
I will ALWAYS BELIEVE in One Warrior Nation!
do you like the ultimate warrior
i think you should be glad he has 1 match on the MSG dvd
And its a quick match lol
I really wanted Eddie Guerrero vs. Kurt Angle from WM 20. It wasn’t on either of Eddie’s two DVDs. It’s the best match they can use from WM 20. I like John Cena but his match with Big Show should probably only go on a future Cena DVD.
Hardy/Mysterio/Jericho/Kane from 2009 is so much better than HHH/Jericho/Angle from 2000. And it’s more recent too. One of the better Smackdown matches from that great year. I guess we’ll never see it on DVD now. That triple threat is so random (and not even important when you consider the ending)
I was also rooting for HBK vs. Sid to be the match from Survivor Series 1996. The end of Shawn’s first world title reign, and probably Sid’s best match
Too bad WWE couldn’t expand this and show something from the Barclays Center (the new MSG?) Would have been a great excuse to include the terrific six man TLC match from last year!
The new MSG? Umm, no. Barclays Center is located in Brooklyn. MSG is in Manhattan. Two completely different arenas with no connection to eachother other than they’re both in New York City.
Glad we didn’t get Angle-Guerero. Great match no doubt but we don’t need more repeats. They have released 9 million Eddie Guerero matches because they glorify him. He was great but I’m good without him being included.
Really cool set that I hope can be given a volume 2, but what happened to the unreleased approach that was reported earlier.
There is unreleased matches and they are:

the Ivan vs Pedro match is on the history of the wwe championship dvd. But the other match’s that you listed are unrelested. I myself would have like to have seen more of Burno or Backlund match’s from MSG. Or Warrior vs Andre myself.
I hope so too. Hell if not that then maybe a series of DVD packages. Maybe have one for the Boston Garden, and other famous/big name Wrestling Venues across the world.
too many marks voting like it. Not enough Hogan or Macho Man. Warrior too. Enough PPV and RAW horse****. Try harder next time WWE.
Reading over these comments is really confusing to me. I see people who love the match listing, people who hate the match listing and people that have mixed feelings on it. That’s all well and good. Where I have a problem understanding is with the people that are complaining.
Some people are complaining that it’s terrible and they won’t be buying it. Ok. But I don’t see a need to complain then. If you’re not gonna buy it then that’s money saved in your pocket. Be happy about that. Some people are complaining that it’s terrible YET they’re still gonna buy it. That one makes no sense at all. Maybe they like torturing themselves. To each their own. Then there’s the hardcore collectors that buy every VHS/DVD/BR no matter what is on them. I’m one of those collectors. I’ve ben collecting WWF VHS tapes since 1989 and I made the decision decades ago that I was going to buy every WWF release that comes out(regardless of what the match/content listing is) because it’s a hobby that I enjoy. If you’re one of those hardcore collectors that buy every single WWE release I really don’t see a need to complain about the same thing over and over to a ridiculous degree. If you do this because it’s a hobby then you already know tha repeats are a necessary evil. It’s been this way since the earliest Coliseum Video releases in 1985. It’s never gonna change no matter how much you rant and complain.
My advice, take some blood pressure pills, go relax, and enjoy the day. This wrestling DVD hobby is clearly too much for you if you get this worked up over it. Maybe a new hobby will ease the frustration. I don’t know.
My thoughts exactly, I am one of those guys who collects everything that is released, a hobby I began last May, into this just a little over a year now but having a blast with it. I am more than a little envious of those of you who have been collecting for several years, I can just imagine all the great matches you have in your collections.
Best of luck to you. It’s a really crazy hobby depending on how deep you get into it. If you plan on going backwards and picking up older tapes and DVDs from years ago it can run you a pretty penny on eBay or Amazon and places like that. I was missing many of the Coliseum Videos from the early years (1985-1989) and it wasn’t until I got on eBay in 1999 that I was able to start filling in the holes in my set. Again, good luck and remember to have fun with it. Some people take it way too seriously and end up giving themselves aneurysms over it.
The problem is there are so many good matches in their library that they have never released. Yet when it cam time to release something really different they released a lot of the same old matches they have been releasing for years. I have multiple copies of at least 8 of these matches. There can’t be a person out there that collects wrestling DVDs and doesn’t have Michales vs. Razor from WM X, and if there is, I seriously doubt they will be starting their collection with this set.
Remember when everyone said they wanted the Bootcamp match and the Harley/Backlund unification match? Well they’re both here. So is Backlund/Patera which is a classic. And all 3 have never been out. So let’s not kill this thing like it’s Top Rivalries or something, it’s not THAT bad. Plenty goodies on here, mixed with the essentials. And seeing that it’s a best of set, you have to expect that.
Why is everyone’s glass half empty? I’ve probably heard people complain about repeats more times than I’ve purchased those matches. More times than I care to remember and its getting a bit……repetitive, Please give it a rest? I love this site, but the negative attitude of the users here is really off putting. That’s the biggest disappointment here to me. I’d prefer to look at things in a positive light if possible, but I’m sure someone will tell me I am a no good son of a bitch for writing this. “Its called freedom of expression, asshole” etc etc. But if the mentality is that you’ve been screwed over because Chris Benoit wasn’t included and you got a match you bought on another DVD way back when, then you can leave me out of the discussions. “F*** you Harry” etc etc. Oh nevermind.
Even on DVDs like MidSouth and ECW, with all unreleased matches, people spend their time complaining about repeats on OTHER DVDs. Some people are just literally incapable of not complaining.
Preach on.
I liked the listing. So… now I’ve gotta find something else to complain about. Thanks.
Good a lot less Bruno then I expected, but still not bad.
Well, WWE will release a Bruno Sammartino DVD next year, so that will definitely make up for only 2 matches on this set.
What matches should have been on here? As the years go by there is not many great matches to put on dvds.
Do we really want unreleased matches that are no good. If only more people liked the 70s and 80s I think dvds on Lawler Race Funks Briscos British Bulldogs would sell very well and there wouldn’t be so many complaints.
quite shitty, i must say
I would’ve saved big show vs vena for the history of the u.s. title DVD if and when it comes out and added The Cruiserweight Championship match instead.
But yeah, poor choices of matches from disc 2 and 3.
Only 9 matches from the 70’s and 80’s, 10 if you count the Blu-Ray extras. Just not enough classic MSG stuff for my taste.
No Shawn Michaels Vs Chris Benoit Vs Triple H why on earth would they not put that amazing match on this dvd to make it 10 times better instead half of them are from the 70s and 80s
“Why on earth would they not put that amazing match on this DVD” — I really hope this was written ironically.
Out of this entire set, the only things that interest me are the Race/Backlund and HHH/Y2J/Angle matches. What does that tell you? That I should be easy to please as I enjoy everything from classic wrestling to modern wrestling. Yet, for me, the matches on this release and Greatest Rivalries miss the mark in a HUGE way and I know it does for many others.
What bothers me most is that WWE DVDs have become increasingly less appealing since the end of 2009. I hope they get back on track. Their best releases were from late 2003 to the end of 2009. In the last two years, there have only been a handful of great releases (Steamboat, Greatest Cage Matches, Rock Journey, Austin Bottom Line, Lesnar, Best of Nitros, Best of Clash, War Games). In my eyes, there were as many great releases in 2009 as there were in the last 3 1/2 years! Hopefully they get back on track and start putting out stuff like the 2007-2009 releases.
My thoughts when initially hearing about the set were “As long as the Texas Death match and Boot Camp match were on, then I’m fine with everything else.” I’m happy. Backlund-Race should be a treat too. Disc 1 is nice. Disc 3 almost feels like a Cena bukake but what are you gonna do? Tag match makes the blu ray essential.
Match listing was what I expected. I am very surprised Steve Austin vs Bret Hart from Survivor Series 1996 isn’t on here though honestly.
What did some of you people honestly think was going to be on here? This is “the BEST of MSG”. Not “The best of what you don’t already own on DVD at MSG”. Don’t like it? Don’t purchase the set then. It’s really that simple folks.
And, believe me, a PASSING a HUGE PERCENTAGE of us will do!
I doubt that anyone owns the stuff from the 70’s. I am excited to see some that stuff from 97 to about 2002. I have every PPV from that point on.
I have the 70s stuff its on History Of The WWE Championship dvd
Well if it’s truly a best of then we wouldn’t have Cena-Big Show over the hundreds of other great MSG moments.
PASS!
WWE should also do MSG Unreleased in order to clearly differentiate between stuff for the mainstream and stuff for the diehards.
This set is not good. I would rather see WWE make this, and hopfully they do. Undertaker the Phenom’s Unreleased Collector’s Series.

This set would be a definite hot seller.
That would be a great set but I think people will be complaining about another Undertaker set when we have like 5 Undertaker sets that is already released
I agree that an Unreleased Undertaker should dome out. But, way, WAY before they do that, they have to release:
-Unreleased Ric Flair
-Unreleased Steve Austin
-Unreleased Shawn Michaels
-Unreleased WCW
-Unreleased Four Horsemen
By the way, I love the fact that this set stinks so bad, that someone had the idea to start discussing not only how bad it was, but what they should be releasing soon.
Why have a unreleased Ric Flair set when most of his unreleased matches is on the Definitive and Ulimate Collection?
Not sure what you mean. The following PPV matches remain unreleased:
Starrcade 1986 vs. Nikita Koloff
Bunkhouse Stampede vs. Road Warrior Hawk
Bash 1988 vs. Lex Luger

That’s just the UNRELEASED PPV matches I want to see! There’s plenty of matches featuring some of the all-time greats. There’s also so much more free TV including Clashes, Nitros, Raws, and supercards such as the Battle of the Belts, Crockett Cups, Coliseum Home Videos, etc. And, that’s not to mention some classics that appeared on NWA/WCW TV shows like Pro, Power Hour, Saturday Night, Main Event, etc.
Another Flair set would be outstanding.
We had an Unreleased Shawn DVD three years ago.
I think I’d probably pass on that. There’s some stuff that sounds cool, but a lot of it, just going off the names involved and past matches, sounds really bad.
Funny troll. 🙂
Agreed, a lot of that Taker stuff doesn’t sound that appealing. And, some of the stuff that does is clearly of the dark match variety that almost never gets released. I wouldn’t mind seeing an Unreleased Undertaker, but we have to be understanding of the fact that if it wasn’t already on a VHS or TV show, we’ll likely never see it even if just because there’s no way that Undertaker will be sitting down to add commentary to it because it wouldn’t fit with his character.
They should’ve at least a couple matches from wrestlemania 20 like Victoria vs Molly holly in that hair match, or Eddie vs Kurt.
If they add those matches, there would be more complaining of repeats
I love how Mick Foley will be talking about his Falls count anywhere match with Triple H. He hosted the falls count anywhere DVD that it was on last year! Watching these releases are like watching Cena matches. Same old shit. We also really needed the Rock’s crappy debut match that was released on his DVD last year as well.
Getting this for Backlund-Patera. Backlund-Race, and Slaughter-Sheik.
Lol Some of the responses on here are priceless. I love the ones that basically say “UGHH!!! THIS SET SUCKS!… But im still gonna get it anyway.” lol
They are getting it for the unreleased matches, if the set has a entire list of repeats, they would not be buying it
it does suck, I mean I am getting it too, but very disappointed, the cover sucks too. at a good price it mine.
Rod-I agree, I am asking for the Madison Square Garden set for my birthday which is in September so I do not have to pay out of my pocket for the disappointing set
Thought there’d be more Bruno, but I guess they’re saving the main matches he had for his eventual documentary.
Very disappointing could have been so much better. I would love a best of the house shows set
Best of the House show set is released 2 months ago if you did not know
did not know that, what is the name of the best of the house shows.. cannot find it anywhere
Go to Amazon and type in wwe: Best of Your House
Erm, one of you is talking about house shows. One of you is talking about In Your House, the PPV series.
Not the same thing folks.
I’m disappointed that Snuka-Muraco didn’t make the cut, but I’ll be getting the blu ray nonetheless. This will be a next month preorder for me.
I think its WAY TOO MUCH from the late 90’s-Present Day and too many PPV matches. Really disappointing imo. Most likely not gonna buy this now.
I personally love the match listing for MSG… I think it will be a really good presentation! But yes… there are repeats that are going to disappoint some people! Oh well… I think it’ll be great!
I am not shocked to see matches on here that are ALREADY on other dvd sets and its a shame that the track record WWE has on repeating itselfs with matches on newer dvd/blu ray is still horrible!! I still plan on buying this cause of the late 70’s & 80’s matches on it. The late 90’s to today i got a bulk of them already on other sets and i rather see material i have not seen. I made a ideal that they should of done a 2 vol set to cover the history of MSG. Vol 1 be the late 70’s 80’s. Vol 2 be set on the 90’s to today. I feel u could get a whole lot out of both sets & make everyone happy from both age groups.
This right here is why I as a long time collector no longer buy WWE DVDs/Blu Rays, far too much stuff that has already been released for nearly £25, maybe when there’s a sale.
I am going to cancel my pre-order and ask this for my birthday which is in September so I do not have to pay out of my pocket for this disappointing set
Would have been great to have included the series between Dusty Rhodes and Billy Graham. Also, the iconic match between Pedro Morales and Bruno Sammartino apparently didn’t make the cut.
Diesel vs. Bob Backlund for the WWE Title, where Big Daddy Cool wins the gold?!?!?! F**k Yes!!!! That right there (for me) is reason enough to buy this DVD/Blu Ray set. I only have it on fan cam style from that MSG show, to have the actual footage for it is gonna be great!!
Or, you could buy the much better History of the WWE title DVD and get it there.
All the show is him kicking Backlund and pinning him on the History of the WWE Title DVD. I would like to think on this they show both entrances, and show the long promo Backlund gives before Diesel comes out to squash him. Plus the 5 minutes of Diesel celebrating after it with the fans going nuts.
-Sigh, what a waste…
Might buy this just for the sheiky interview, XD, the match listing is pretty weak, I was hint for rare stuff like a few matches from raw and smackdown in MSG from the90s-05
This is only a must buy if you’re an Old School fan to be honest and that’s not me so I’ll be avoiding this. The HHH/Cactus Jack Royal Rumble 2000 Street Fight should have been in over their Falls Count Anywhere match that was on the FCA DVD and the first ever Elimination Chamber should have definitely been put in instead of that overrated Ladder match that finds it’s way on every DVD and nobody watches. Definitely a lot of things here that should have been changed. Overall I’m disappointed and it wont be making my collection.
I’m an old school fan and it doesn’t appeal to me either. There isn’t even one (1!) unreleased match from the 1986 to 1996 era. How is that possible? I can understand skipping out on anything from 1993 to 1996 as most of that was filmed and, quite frankly, the WWF was terrible at that point, but what about the dream match to end all dream matches featuring what most would say was the two all-time greatest wrestlers, Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan. I realize their two singles matches were already released, but what about the tag match from March 1992?
And what about Hart versus Mr. Perfect? That already appeared on 4 DVDs! Enough with this match.
Honestly, I am disappointed with the match listings, there is 10 or 11 repeats
It could have been better but I will still get this for the unreleased matches
Fantastic DVD. Looks a truly definitive WWE collection!
Buckland vs Race
Slaughter vs Sheik
Bret vs Dibiase
Makes this a must buy fot me.
Not bad but could have done bit better, should have included Austin and Angle from raw in 2002, The fatal four way from smackdown in 2009, The Kane unmasking from 2003, Mankind Undertaker from Survivor Series 1996, HBK Sid from Survivor Series 1996 but other its looks decent and will appeal to a certain degree, the blu-ray extras look pretty decent even though i have the survivor series 2011 blu-ray, thank god they dint include the rock john cena vs awesome truth match, A lot of repeats by the looks of it too and hope the segments are in full espically when triple h returned which has not been released in full on dvd or blu-ray as of yet!!
This DVD looks to be terrible. It’s just pointless without the true moment of Wrestlemania XX.
Not really. Nobody needs to see a coward who killed his wife and young son.
Chill at pedro you weren’t there so go saying stuff just because of what you read, the media manipulates many things, you will never know the true events of that day, your entitled to your opinion but when you dont the full facts or you werent there in present keep your opinions to yourself, that match from WM XX was easily one of the great moments from the garden which sadly will never get the light of day.. oh well people who have the WM XX DVD can go back and watch that great match!!
Are you disputing the fact that Benoit killed his wife and son? What kind of person is an apologist for that? What a mark!
I wasn’t in Europe or even alive at the time, but I know Hitler and the Nazis killed a whole bunch of people. Did the media manipulate that one too?
Perfect analogy. Yet, Hitler continues to be shown on TV. How come Benoit, who made such a comparatively minor impact, can’t be included on DVDs?
Even Vince McMahon said “It’s not right to pretend he didn’t exist. It’s one thing to include him as part of a historical perspective, which I believe is OK, and it’s another thing to promote him, which is not OK. The situation is very similar to that of O.J. Simpson – despite his controversy, O.J. was still a part of the NFL scene. You can’t deny that he existed.”

When will the WWE’s DVD and Classics on Demand department get that message!
Because unfortunately Hitler was part of “real” history and had a MAJOR impact on world history. Chris Benoit was an entertainer and a minor part of history. And I can’t remember the last time OJ Simpson was part of a NFL films production. You can’t deny Benoit or Simpson existed but you don’t have to include them either.
I’d rather see that Benoit WrestleMania moment than almost anything else on the set.
Disc 2 has one new match and Disc 3 isn’t much better.
There’s a total of two matches that I care to see and nothing that I’d consider must see. I imagine a lot of others will feel the same way and not bother posting that opinion so as not to waste their time getting into an endless back and forth with the WWE apologists of this board.
I really wonder how long this set is. At this point, I’m beginning to think that they might be trying to slip in some single layer DVDs into these sets as at least one of them (DVD #2) appears to be less than two hours.
In short, I say this set is GARBAGE, just PURE GARBAGE that will only appeal to some of the WWE apologists and those who don’t do the research to discover what’s actually on the set.
I’m alright with the listing, not too happy with some of the matches included on it though, Backlund vs. Diesel…
Well, at least the match is short, and quite funny.
Yeah, quite a match they put on this. It lasts all of about 12 seconds.
Then, if that’s not enough, there’s the Honky Tonk versus Warrior match that lasts about 15 seconds. At least they get to run up their match totals.
What kind of a compilation set is this piece of trash? There isn’t a single Austin or Flair match, two guys who everybody would put in their top 10, if not top 5, yet they have two John Cena matches.
This is a joke.
Total disappointment!
Disc 3 is just a repeat fest
Why is Daniel Bryan randomnly featured before a match in 2000?
Maybe that’s one of his favorite matches or something?
I knew there was gonna be a lot of repeat matches but come on. And that Bob Backlund v Diesel match only lasted 5 second he jack knifed Bob straight away and won the title. Why bother.
The Bootcamp Match alone makes this a Day One purchase for me. Very excited about the Texas Death Match and Bruno’s last MSG match as well.
Only 10 unreleased just counted them
That’s about 9 more unreleased matches than the 25 Rivalries had. This set had some great stuff, and some not-so-great stuff. The hat trick of the Bootcamp-Texas Death- WWF vs NWA makes this a very desirable set. The best all time? No. The beat this year? No. But it beats any of the countdown releases.
That’s really not saying much. They need to just put out a set of all there over hyped matches that they have repeated 100 times.
It’s not terrible; but certainly missed so many great things. First off like many recent releases there needs to be a Vol. 2. Glad we have the Triple H-Cactus Jack street fight! Thats only been released 19 times one being a year ago. I swear WWE could screw up a wet dream. Growing up in NY I can remember in the early ’90’s all the MSG shows that would be on the MSG network. In 2006 in fact they re-aired these under the tag “MSG Classics.” So in my opinion you could have filled this release with all of those old school house show matches. Instead we get the Ladder match! Now clearly I get that this is a “Best of” but just because it was on PPV and because it has been repeated to death doesn’t mean it had to be on this set. Just like the current WWE product the company just doesn’t get it sometimes.
Yeah, I would have personally loved to see Royal Rumble 2000 – Cactus Jack vs. Triple H instead!
Backlund/Sheik title change still is unreleased. If there was ever a time, this would have been it. It’s not a big deal just saying.
The Dec. 26, 1983 title change is in several releases.
Greatest Wrestling Stars of the 80’s
Actually, it’s in The Greatest Wrestling Stars of the 80s
Bruno’s final MSG match is included. Very cool. Morales winning the WWWF Title is another big moment. Of course the Hogan Title win and the Mania 1 main event are must-haves if you’re telling the story of MSG. I’m really satisfied with this.
Bruno’s last match is cool, huh? Not according to Bruno. He has repeatedly said he considers anything to do with his last run an embarrassment and an insult. But, when you consider how much money they put in his pocket (rumored to be a million) to bury the hatchet, I guess we won’t hear him complaining about it.
He had one of the best runs in history… yeah his last run wasn’t great, but you can’t expect to go out great when almost your whole career was great. His finale was acceptable IMO!
That Bruno/Santana vs. Savage/Adonis cage match is one of my all-time favorites. I think Bruno’s final run at MSG (first as a special ref for Savage vs. Santana, then coming out of retirement for a tag match, then culminating in this cage match) was excellent and a great way to cap of his legacy. He may not have been in as great of condition then, but he was still incredibly over and knew how to get a crowd riled up like no one else.
Decent listing but I was hoping for more “old school” stuff. Some repeats, but that is understandable given it’s a “Best of” collection and stuff like Hogan vs. Iron Sheik, WrestleMania I and the Shawn-Razor ladder matches are clearly some of the highlight moments of WWE at Madison Square Garden.
In all honesty I am very disappointed. A lot of previously released. Assuming it will sell well though and maybe a Vol 2 will have more unreleased.
Not bad but I was hoping for some more vintage stuff with Bruno. Wasn’t the match with Diesel and Backlund like 8 seconds or something??
They’re probably saving a lot of the Bruno stuff for the Bruno DVD.
I have no desire to see anything with Bruno. Lucky for me, they have very little Bruno footage from pre-1972.
looks horrible
X2
off topic but my copy of WWF Unforgiven 2001 was delivered today 😀
