Many WWEDVDNews.com readers are getting in touch about an error made by WWE with the new Epic Journey of The Rock DVD. The content listing on the packaging refers to a Rock vs Triple H match from RAW in 1998, but is not present on the disc itself.
This is supposedly also the case for the Blu-ray edition (disc 1). Perhaps the match is a hidden “easter egg” but no word yet.
WWE Royal Rumble 2012 is released tomorrow (2/28) on DVD and Blu-ray to the USA.

In Malaysia, Elimination Chamber 2012 has hit stores on DVD.
I like the Elimination Chamber 2012 cover for Malaysia. It’s much better than the US one.
No it is not on there Didnt think they would list an easter egg
Hmm I didn’t even realize that the match wasn’t on the disk. Although, if it is the thursday night raw where The Rock won the IC belt, I believe it is on his first dvd.
Has ne1 in the USA tried using the easter egg code that ‘Jason’ gave?
@ Steve
I agree…but in general most stores only carry 1 copy of the Blu-ray (if your lucky sometimes 2-3) and probably 2-3 copies of the DVD (at least from my experience).
Man could they have made it any more ridiculous to find the Royal Rumble Blu Ray? Best Buy’s website has it as an order only and in no stores and the few Walmarts I have checked don’t have it either. FYE has it listed as out of stock. Yet they wonder why no one buys the PPV’s on Blu Ray. Typical WWE. They would screw up a wet dream. All the newer Blu Rays also don’t resume when they are stopped from the point they were left off also which is a pain in the ass. I just don’t get it!
Hasn’t been released in the UK yet. There’s also an easter egg match on his ‘Just Bring It’ DVD vs. Rob Van Dam. I wonder if you get the easter egg on the blu ray too, or if they really want to feck the fans over to get them to buy both versions.
It is on the set. Its an easter egg. On disc 2 on the thriple threat cage on the chapter screen push left left right and it comes on…why has no one unlocked this but me?
Thats a shame. I inquired about this as well a few times. Having that match there would have been nice and would have extended the DVD. It wouldn’t have made the set priceless, but any match I dont already own that comes to DVD in my book is one worth keeping
True, but how comes it’s listed for USA Buyers and not for ne1 here in the UK on Silvervision?

“5/19/98; Chattanooga, TN; UTC Arena
5/25/98:
WWF European Champion Triple H (w/ Chyna) fought WWF IC Champion the Rock (w/ Mark Henry) to a double count-out at around the 10-minute mark after both men began fighting on the floor; neither title was at stake in the match; after the bout, the Rock backed up the aisle and taunted Triple H before he was jumped by Farooq and sustained a piledriver on the entrance stage”
I wouldn’t have minded the extra content, but it also would’ve been an odd match to have on a Rock DVD/Blu ray, IMO.
If you go to Silvervision.co.uk, you’ll notice that, that match isn’t listed in the blu-ray 4 UK buyers!
I also noticed watching the summerslam 98 match they said WWF a few times in the beginning lol
Seems everything is done quickly with the Malaysia PPV releases because they need them out quick due to the big problem of DVD piracy in the country.
Man that Elimination Chamber DVD came out fast in Malaysia, didn’t it? O_O The PPV was only last week xD
Why on earth have they missed off the other matches on the back cover of the Malaysian EC DVD? Lol. It seems that they get their covers prepared a lot quicker than the US/UK for an earlier release, so I’m assuming that those matches were all that was announced at the time they needed their final design.
Sorry what I said just then is completely wrong. It did happen and I have no idea what the problem might be. Sorry. But I remember they did a similar thing with the legacy of Stone Cold DVD where they had the Triathlon thing with Bischoff listed but when it came out it had been replaced by a new SNME thing about who is Vince’s son. But they didnt amend the packaging or at least the original listing that came out in some regions was wrong. I don’t think silver vision had the problem.

Oops!
I haven’t got the DVD but I don’t think that match exists. There was no Raw on that date. There was howvever one month later which is the same match as on the first Rock DVD. If I’ve got it wrong please correct me.
