Regardless of DVD covers, I dislike all big smiley pictures of John Cena. Regaring the spoiler debate, it doesn’t bother me that much, but just from a storytelling point of view its ass backwards. You wouldn’t write a book and print the last page on the cover. Its just another example of letting old standards slip. But times have changed.
I don’t really care about the cover but I think its ok, nothing special but nothing disastorous, however its better than last years cover ( let the hate begin). However I woulda had my man ziggler in the left hand side and sheamus and punk on the right
D’ya really think WWE cares (or even should care) that when you pull this DVD out in 5 years time you will instantly know what happens in the main event by the cover? No, for one they will care about shifting copies when it’s new, not when it’s reached (or far outreached) the end of it’s life cycle in stores. Also if an event/match was memorable enough all it takes to jog my memory about what happened in it is just reading the back of the case to see the match was.
I don’t know their marketing viewpoint on why they go for covers like this but you’d think a shot from the event which is synonymous with it, and instantly takes you back remembering it, would help more than PPV posters which oftentimes have nothing to do with what happened on the night.

Just enjoy the product and relax, thats what WWE is all about entertaining you, all my friends have said to me why do you watch WWE, its naked men jumping around wearing knickers and that and looking sweaty, i said i dont care you either love it or hate it, its something to watch, kick back and relax and entertain, thats what i love WWE for, Stop complaining about the DVD Covers, you guna buy the dvd to watch the ppv or are you going to sit there and just stare at the cover lol.

Tony, apparently there are wrestling fans in the world who only follow WWE through their DVD releases. They don’t watch Raw or SmackDown ever because those shows give away the results of the ppvs. They like to be surprised by the results when they buy the DVDs a month later. So when WWE gives away the winners on the cover of these DVDs it just kills any enjoyment these fans have of watching it.

I just shook my head in disgust when Cena won the MITB ladder match, and I shake my head in disgust once again.
Positives of this dvd include CM Punk vs Daniel Bryan in another classic, and the future World Champion Dolph Ziggler winning his briefcase.
