Last night, WWE uploaded the first of a two-part interview with Eric Bischoff, itself part of the new “Legends With JBL” show and a key component of “Nitro Week” on the WWE Network.
They also got started on a big upload of ECW content…
JBL shoots straight with the controversial Eric Bischoff in this first of a hard-hitting two-part interview with the former WCW President!
The new series forgoes the light-hearted nature found in more recent Stone Cold Podcasts, and instead adopts a more intimate, grittier tone more akin to a hard-hitting head-to-head debate found on a news channel. While we’ll have to see if this is maintained throughout the series, we could very well be getting the closest thing to a shoot interview series that WWE has ever produced.
In our last additions article, we mulled over the possibility that ECW fans could be about to enter “hardcore heaven”, with a trickle of new ECW content on the Network potentially signalling an opening of the floodgates. Well, we were right! Over the course of last night and into this morning, the following episodes of ECW Hardcore TV were added:
- ECW Hardcore TV #166 – 06/25/1996
- ECW Hardcore TV #167 – 07/02/1996
- ECW Hardcore TV #168 – 07/09/1996
- ECW Hardcore TV #173 – 08/13/1996
- ECW Hardcore TV #177 – 09/10/1996
- ECW Hardcore TV #179 – 09/24/1996
- ECW Hardcore TV #183 – 10/22/1996
- ECW Hardcore TV #186 – 11/12/1996
- ECW Hardcore TV #197 – 01/28/1997
- ECW Hardcore TV #201 – 02/26/1997
- ECW Hardcore TV #203 – 03/12/1997
For those who can’t be bothered to count, that’s 11 new episodes in less than 24 hours!
At this point, it’s safe to assume that the pledge of “over 50 hours of ECW content” is being kept to, which means we’re likely not done yet! Remember, stay locked to our WWE Network Updates page to get a heads up on all the new additions quicker than anywhere else.
