Here in this post today we are going to be taking a look at all of the new WWE Network content coming up this week, so without further ado let’s begin…
Sunday
Of course WWE Battleground will hit the WWE Network airwaves on Sunday night, headlined by the main event WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar. The real intrigue for this show might well be in the buzz floating around that there could be a surprise… OR TWO… heading to St. Louis for the PPV!
As usual the PPV festivities begin at 7pm EST with the Kickoff Show.
Monday
What could the fallout from Battleground be, will there be a new World Heavyweight Champion? Will we have had any shocking returns? Exactly what went down? Well you can get amped up for RAW with the WWE RAW Pre-Show which begins at 7:30pm EST.
Then after RAW head back on over to the WWE Network for the premier of a brand new edition of WWE Swerved.
“Curtis Axel gets shot down by a bratty kid. Byron and Summer Rae help an old lady. Fandango and Heath Slater create chaos in a coffee shop.”
Swerved airs at 11:06pm EST (or whenever RAW actually ends!).
Tuesday
Tuesday has become a big day for ancillary WWE programming with Total Divas now airing on E! and Tough Enough airing on USA Network. Well, now you can add The WWE List to your list of Tuesday WWE programming as this week The List returns with a new episode listing the most “must have” WWE merchandise to ever hit the shelves. The List airs at 4:30pm EST and will be available as VOD soon after.
After you’ve watched Tough Enough (and of course while you are DVR’ing Total Divas) head back over to the WWE Network for another edition of WWE Tough Talk with The Miz. If you’ve not seen this show before then you really should, it’s a fun 30 minute post show with Miz holding court with the contestants and judges.
Wednesday
Wednesday is NXT day! This week on WWE NXT witness the contract signing for the NXT Championship Match between Finn Bálor and Kevin Owens for TakeOver: Brooklyn. Also in action are: Samoa Joe, Bayley, Emma, The Vaudevillans and the NXT debut of Eva Marie. Plus, with this week’s announcements that the legendary Jushin “Thunder” Liger will be heading to Brooklyn for the big TakeOver event, what other surprises could be in store? Catch NXT at 8pm EST.
Also airing on Wednesday is a brand new edition of Culture Shock with Corey Graves, on this edition Graves “takes on the famed Fisherman’s Wharf in the San Francisco Bay Area!”.
Plus, a missing episode of Prime Time Wrestling will also air on Wednesday, the 12/15/86 episode is headlined by a main event between The Islanders and Don Muraco & Bob Orton.
And beyond…
Your WWE Network week is rounded off with Friday and Saturday staples; WWE Superstars (Friday at 8pm EST) and This Week in WWE (Saturday at 2pm EST).
We’re also just hearing that the additional 50 hours of ECW content that was quietly mentioned on RAW could be dropping on the Network either sometime this week or next!
