June 30, 2011 by Daniel Bee

The planned cover artwork for WWE OMG! – The Top 50 Incidents In WWE History can now be exclusively revealed by WWEDVDNews.com!

Released on DVD and Blu-ray formats first on August 23rd to the USA, the cover features Edge spearing Mick Foley through a flaming table at WrestleMania 22. We can also tell from the below artwork shot that a picture of Triple H from the Attitude Era holding the WWF Championship is featured on the spine of both editions.

OMG! – The Top 50 Incidents In WWE History counts down the most outrageous moments in the history of WWE. What moments will make the cut, the top 10, and what is the greatest moment of all time? Is it the King of the Ring tournament where Austin 3:16 was born? Mick Foley’s devastating fall of the top of the Hell in a Cell cage? The Montreal Screwjob? The explosion that consumed Mr. McMahon’s limo? This three-disc set is the perfect release for fans that love to debate which moments were their favorites.

WWE will be promoting this as their second countdown release chronicling some of the top moments in WWE history, a follow on from Top 50 Superstars of All Time (2010) which sold over 57,000 copies in the first eight weeks of release.

The Screwjob will be in the top 5 moments and Austin 3:16 will be in the top 5 also. Might have the Screwjob part 2 where Vince Screws Cm Punk at Money in the Bank and Punk was an ass to take a shot at WWE, he dug his own grave in WWE.

  2. LPEVO92 says:

Are Edge & Foley making out on this cover?

  3. Ricky Schmidt says:

That is a terrible, terrible cover.

  4. Nightmareblade says:

I hope this is also the cover for the dvd

  5. Johnny W. says:

Nice cover, STUPID title. That WM 22 hardcore match still stands as one of my favorite matches ever. Nice to see it making the cover. Come on! Fire in WWE?!

  6. Lawrence says:

I still say the WWE should put out a Top 50 Matches DVD.

  7. d money says:

will it be moments and matches or just moments

  8. SRB says:

Terrible cover. Absolutly terrible. That big “OMG” banner on the top looks like a trading card or the cover of a board game. It has the “Over the limit” theme as far as race cars and superheros go. I understand you simply cannot put a bunch of guys on the cover like the great stars dvd or the top millenium dvd. the cover looks cheap and for some reason wwe keeps dumming down their dvds and it all started with the lack of inserts. now we get covers that obviously took no time at all to come up with. you also take 2 guys who arent even in wwe any longer. just not a great release in my opinion.

Nice cover!Bring back the attitude era!Lets make a petition to the WWE!

  12. Steve says:

I love how they make a Blu Ray of 50 moments that were shot in standard definition yet Capitol punishment & money in the bank are shot in high definition and are regular dvd’s. WWE screws up DVD releases almost as worse as they screw up there kiddie product. When does the rise & fall of WWE come out?

  13. Anonymous says:

i like the cover because it’s different.

  14. Chris Smith says:

I like it. For anyone new to WWE who never saw WM 22 and has only known the PG, no risk, no thrills style of wrestling (or entertainment whatever) this cover will definitely catch their eye and their interest.

But on the other hand I absolutely loathe the “OMG!” This is WWE once again pandering to the mainstream audience. They might as well have added a few LOLs and sideways smiley faces!

  15. PenLOLbury says:

At least it can’t be PG with a cover like that!

I hate the term “OMG”. Its for facebook using white girls that like Justin Beiber. and I can also tell that maybe this pic was photoshopped because look at the ring, the ropes for WM 22 were black, not white, and the crowd isn’t the same crowd that WM 22 had. So either whoever made this cover did a horrible job at photoshopping or WWE is just going out of there minds with these covers.

  18. Looks like a comic book cover. What’s up with the title, it sounds like an ‘internet slang’ or something.

  19. CJ says:

The cover sucks? It’s Edge spearing Mick Foley onto a flaming table! That was insane when it happened.

  20. John23 says:

The only thing I dislike is the giant OMG on the cover. The DVD sounds great, I still need to see more on it. CM Punk promo-shoot from Raw 6-27-11 should be on Here!!!

  21. william says:

kinda wied how they have hhh on the spine when the dx express got blown up

  22. william says:

if they wanted to put a moment on here should of done foley fflying off the cell and get rid of the omg on the cover
